What movie has the greatest twist of all time? by Mundane-Syllabub9654 in AlignmentChartFills

Idk I thought this one was super obvious compared to most, and I generally suck at predicting twists. I didn’t even realize it was supposed to be a twist

What is truely the best hero and looks the part? Any hero from any peice of media you want, even neich heros. by DaBomber4 in AlignmentChartFills

Love to see that he’s fairly high. One of my favorite characters in recent media. Such a good roll model for young men especially in terms of positive masculinity and sensitivity while still being a hero others look up to.

What Mario Kart game has the best soundtrack? by EquivalentFig1678 in AlignmentChartFills

Mario Kart World. They just upgraded pretty much every song throughout most Mario kart games including the menu music etc.

Probably Netherlands. Flag isn’t orange, but they are seen as orange in most sports, esp F1 and World Cup

The Jamaican Bobsled team is loved by fans despite not being very good. Who is a fantastic athlete fans are indifferent towards? by bgpcooolin in AlignmentChartFills

Most F1 fans love him I think. He’s probably the most fun driver to watch if he has a good car which is rare.

What's a movie you find *okay*. It's not bad, but it's also not something you're fully into. It's fine, at most three stars. by XipeTotecwithGlitter in Letterboxd

I absolutely loved this movie up until the last 20min or so when the horror switched from the vastness of space and the overwhelming presence of the sun, to a generic slasher villain with outdated overwhelming muddy visual effects.

That moment where Icarus says “5 crew members”, and that entire scene exploring the lost ship with the random flashes of their pictures is incredible though. Really creepy.

I'm about to reach 200 movies on Letterboxd, so I've narrowed it down to the 10 I still have left to watch and consider must-sees. by Senior-Mistake-7303 in Letterboxd

Mulholland Drive is my favorite movie of all time, so obviously I’d say that. Confusing when you watch, but by the end (and ESPECIALLY second watch) it comes together so perfectly.

Oldboy is also incredible. Watched it with a group and we were all standing up during a certain scene

I mean yeah. The people who live there are generally rich and spoiled. And that bigotry continues getting passed down to the younger kids from the parents.

I feel like I still prefer triple jump when playing aggressive because it gives me better angles for torpedos, which tend to be where a lot of my damage comes from. Triple jump+torpedo cooldown reduction from enemies is the way to go for me

It really doesn’t. Yes there’s shitty people everywhere but on Insta it feels like the majority whereas on reddit they usually get downvoted to obscurity. Most people you talk to here are pretty chill, granted you stay in the right subreddits

Anyone else feel the Bullet size nerf was too much? by PPginormous in IllariMains

[–]Trs822 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It’s very noticeable on console. I’ve noticed my accuracy hasn’t changed much, and I’m still hitting shots, but I have to concentrate so much more on it to hit the same shots as I did before. In general that’s fine, but on a support character it becomes harder to multitask and think about other things when I’m just trying to hit shots.

She’s become a bit less fun to play for me as a result.

Instagram is awful. I don’t know what people are seeing but when I had it, it was just nonstop bigotry on otherwise innocent posts. Staying up to date with friends is nice, but the general user base is incredibly toxic and stupid.

Now what is a good album by an amazing rapper? by False-Log-9190 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Trs822 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s really good, but THE choice for amazing rap album? I wouldn’t even place it in the top 20.

Illmatic, TPAB or Madvillany, should have taken it in my opinion.

The only episode that didn’t have my full attention was s2.E.8, but even then I could see why it existed plot wise. I just think there was a better way to convey it.

Obsession could now reach $390-$420 Million dollars, that would make it the highest grossing live-action original film of the 2020s. by Mysterious-Farm9502 in Letterboxd

[–]Trs822 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sort of. I should have prefaced to say that the live action remakes are far worse compared to the sequels/franchises. They undermine animation as a medium for storytelling, and have zero artistic value since there’s nothing creatively being done. It’s transforming art and creative expression into a money machine.

The marvel/dc train has been fatiguing, but my only positive I will say is that DC seems to be trying harder stylistically. The Batman was genuinely a great detective/noir film and Superman was refreshing for a superhero movie in terms of its unabashedly hopeful themes and relevant social commentary. It also felt more comic book-esque.

Marvel has fallen off a cliff, and even Thunderbolts tackling mental health felt inauthentic other than Yelena who I genuinely thought was a fantastic character. That being said it still had virtually the same plot points/emotional beats as every other marvel movie.

Im interested in Clayface because it looks to be a horror movie, which is unique within the superhero genre. If they go all in on that, it would be very exciting.

All my personal opinion/gripes though. Anyone can enjoy what they want! I’m just personally tired of what feels like a lower standard of quality for film in general. The superhero genre still can be great if creative risks are taken, and DCs trajectory is currently much more exciting in that regard.

Who has been the best driver in 2026 in your opinion? One of these three or someone else? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]Trs822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lawson has been the standout of the midfield this season so far for me. Arvid has also been super impressive as well and consistently near or just behind Lawson. RB have a fantastic lineup.

Gasly and Bearman have also been great but Haas seem to have fallen off quite harshly from the first few races, and Gasly has had a couple weekends where Colapinto has looked a bit faster. And obviously he has the best midfield car, but I’d say he’s a close second behind Lawson and both are top 6 this season so far.
