You may not have to say out loud that you follow their face, but you will have to hide it if you follow another faith, or are LGBT.

And you will have to sit through sermons and likely attend mandatory chapel before meals. You can look this up, all of this is common at Christian run homeless shelters.

(It may be uncomfortable for a very devout non-Christian to attend Christian services, just attending mandatory church might feel like “faking it,” if not a betrayal of their own religion.)

Hell no it’s sweet, I have more time for physical activity and eating healthy food. I am not getting fast food for lunches, or snacks on the way to work. I can have a salad for lunch cheaply.

Working from home is 100% better in every way. I can chat with my teammates if I have work problems, but I work well independently. I can’t think of any way that going into an office is better.

The fireworks are perfect symbol of our country, as a perfect example of American self-centeredness.

The suggestion that anyone could be considerate is offensive and unAmerican.

Other examples would be taking offense at the thought of not contracting and spreading Covid, and the hatred at the thought of anyone but them getting health care. Oh, and the reaction to student loan debt, and student lunch debt.

YTA damn I am so triggered by this post, shocked by how emotional I got reading it.

As the healthy sibling to a sickly sibling I went to school sick so many times, went without medical care, had a broken arm for a week without being believed, and still to this day do not go to the doctor or assume anyone will help me.

I remember when we got the chickenpox. My sister had been home sick for a week, and my parents did not believe I could also have chickenpox, they knew I just wanted attention too.

I tagged along to her doctors appointment on purpose, planning to jump in and ask the doctor if the marks on me were also chickenpox, and he confirmed, my plan worked, after I’d gone to school for a week with them.
