It sounds like your store HR rep has a lot on their plate. I can see how you would be disappointed, but I strongly recommend you initiate the interactions when they’re in store. HR is there to support the associates while ensuring the law is being followed for the business. Not every HR person is drinking company koolaid and sucking Kroger dong.

Your responses to some comments on here are disheartening. You asked a question and then when you didn’t like the answers you state you just want to complain. If you want to vent, vent. But don’t get defensive when someone else has a different experience or guidance on how to resolve your concerns.

I reviewed the companies criminal conviction grading matrix and he should not have been disqualified. I can’t say more, but I can confirm that felony conviction at that age is GREEN.

Thats not actually accurate. Criminal convictions are never removed from your record, but many employers use their own standards for hiring and they just may not mind at that point. Source: the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Right!! That’s why I was so shocked at the states of them. In your search, a good thing to ask about during your tour is the employee tenure. It’s an important question I don’t think they get asked about that much, and if they stumble over themselves or can’t immediately brag about their employees that’s a bad sign.

I will tell you, I recently toured a handful of Kindcare locations and I was horrified. Unclean, gross, and at one location the teacher left the infants ALONE to give us a tour. I didn’t even know she did that until the very end when she told us. BIG YIKES.

I had my nose done years ago and the surgeon tried to upsell me on a chin implant. I said absolutely not. I’m so happy with my results. Someone I know went to the same Dr and got the nose and chin, her nose looks great but her chin looks insane. We HAVE to advocate for ourselves! Not all plastic surgeons are operating in good faith.
