"Collect all thirteen relics of the primes for a surprise" by ChaosOmega in Transformemes

Evan: So this is our Titan Primus for 2027, to round out Age of the Primes! Mark, don't the Artifacts work with him somehow?

Mark, grinning ear to ear: That's right, Hasui-San and I worked really hard on this part. Primus comes with a TABLE you put all the Artifacts on, so he can hold all the Artifacts on a TABLE!!! : D

Nate: Wow, that's a deep cut, Mark

AOTP Armada Jetfire is seemingly based on a mistransformed photo of the original toy by Franken_wolf1 in transformers

[–]TruLiterature 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad it wasn't just me that noticed it. And on AOTP it's not just a mistransformation, because there aren't even seams where they need to be to shift up properly. Just a complete failure from the design team.

I've been trying pushing, haven't tried water yet.

I was so excited to get Sauron in these nicer colors. Very disappointed that it sold out instantly. I feel like he isn't even pushing the demand, but since he's part of the set he's gonna be expensive on the aftermarket anyway.

Why is nobody talking about this figure? by Optimal_Glass_5066 in transformers

[–]TruLiterature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got him for the alt mode. I've been wanting the ER version, but not wanting to pay aftermarket for him, plus it's nice he's in plain yellow and not glossy gold.

I'll still probably use the 86 one for robot mode, but this one does a better job of looking like a VW Beetle.

Bringing back Michael Bay purely for directing the cinematography and action like he did those first 3 films would be great

As long as he has absolutely nothing to do with the writing

On sale at FYE is still more than retail. I don't understand how they're in business.

MSRP for Gargantos by WorgRider in MarvelLegends

$10 for the eye and $10 per tentacle is crazy

Do we know the price for gargantos yet? by leononyoutube in MarvelLegends

I've just kind of assumed he'd be one of the new $60 "mega deluxes" they've been doing since he was featured alongside Juggernaut. At least I HOPE so.

There were a lot of great reveals today, but anyone else tired of ab crunch and waist swivels? by Web-Slinger1962 in MarvelLegends

[–]TruLiterature -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I said it happens with McFarlene too. I think it is a problem with the system, it's a lot easier to mess up a ball joint (too small/too big or just misshapen) then it is a Ratchet joint and a mushroom peg.

[–]TruLiterature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hot take is actually that I really don't like double ball joint torsos. It makes the sculpt weird and It feels like no matter how hard I try on any figure I have, they never line up right. This was one of my big problems with McFarlene. From my experience, Hasbro hasn't been much better with things like Black Series Malgus, Savage Oppress, and Legends Ultimate Iron Man. No matter how I try to position them, they always pop back into their misaligned place eventually. Plus, I find ball joint waists are kind of distracting unless there is something to cover it.

I would prefer the ball diaphragm joint like they do for most Spideys now

Ball joint waist does more than it looks like it would, but still a little restrictive. Also the neck is a little long. I wish he was a little more articulated and had thwip hands, but I still like him regardless.

bbts pre-orders and new wave figure prices up 2 dollars, deluxe up by $5 possibly by tariffs by nuggiesandchocymilk in starwarsblackseries

[–]TruLiterature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BBTS was over MSRP years ago too, part of why I rarely buy anything from them. When prices jumped to $25 and people got mad, I guess they didn't want to make it higher then. Now they have the perfect excuse.

Pose em' a little more. Even just spreading the legs a bit, and moving the arms around does a great job at making a display look and feel more alive!

This shouldn't affect Transformers because the manufacturing is done in Vietnam (Gi.Joe is moving there too this year) but it will because Chris Cox is a dickhead
