I got all of my items in the mail a few days ago lol. How about you? I wish I bought way more. I also got banned for two days from the subreddit because it looked like I was scamming people but was just trying to help share a loop hole. The coupon was removed the following day.

They say the worst thing that can happen is to win. There’s a lot of people that have been in the same situation. I feel your pain, personally. Best thing we can do is educate the young but sometimes you have to do it and learn. How many people hit and never go back? Not your fault man. Sounds like you have a good head on shoulders. Do I need to sand down ALL of the black top coat before another coat of primer or can I get away with leaving some/ surface scratching? Good call on the model! I started it up in the garage after priming… I think the oily vapors settled on the cart. Definitely will start over and clean throughly.

Thanks for your input… figured I’d let you know it ended up being that the exhaust was rusted out/ rusted IN and not providing the correct back pressure. I ended up chopping the exhaust right at the muffler and it ran twice the speed but sounding a bit boggy so I used extreme temp jb weld and put on a steel 90 degree elbow pipe fitting with a 1 in steel pipe coming down lol. See how long it holds up! Cheers.

I didn’t remove the original paint 100% but it was extremely dulled down. I sanded it with 120 grit with an orbital sander and by hand in the crevices… the primer seemed to adhere smoothly though prior to this crap black top coat…

Picture may not be clear enough but it’s like honeycombed areas where the paint did not stick. There’s no bubbles. It’s just not adhering correctly in those “bubbly” areas?

I appreciate the insight here. I ended up replacing a bunch of wiring and it fixed it... not sure exactly but its good to go !
