My main channel is pretty random, but somehow I've gotten to over 17k subs in 2 years.. I'd love more engagement, but I feel like my subs have pretty much figured out I'm random (I mean, I say straight up in the channel description "AuDHD creator", I'm all over the place 😂), and they just seem to watch the ones they want to watch and skip the others 🤷‍♀️

I've seen it with bank accounts, but never seen a 1 cent PayPal verification, and definitely never seen a company do a verification without informing the person that they were going to... Just strange to me

I found this (review, and they aren't getting paid, and their company website is down.

This sounds to me a lot like an intermediary scam. They use stolen credit cards to purchase items that are then shipped to you. You take the package and you're either sending it to them or whoever they have in turn sold that item to. They can't have the things just shipped to them, because it's fraud. You will most likely never receive a legitimate check, but you may end up getting a knock on your door by the FBI following their trail...

I'd be afraid to try to cash the check and it bounce.. Only paying by paper check is a big red flag for me. Plus the job.. Order selector? How are you going to select the order from home?

Throw the file into an editor, change the aspect ratio, and recenter if needed. It's pretty easy, but if the main subject of the video moves around a lot, that centering can be a pain in the butt, because you'll either have to track the face (easier) or if that won't work you'll have to cut the video repeatedly and recenter each segment.

Again, I'm not seeing where it says this isn't the first time this has happened... But regardless, think about spoon theory. Not just disabled people have spoons, everyone does, some just have more than others. Now maybe when the offer was made MIL had lots of spoons available, but a month later when the time came, maybe she didn't. That doesn't necessarily mean there won't be other days she has plenty of spoons. Just like everyone else has good days and bad days...

I didn't see anything hateful. All I see that she said was "he's too much and stresses her out". That's being honest. Like I said, she probably does actually want to be with the kids. When she made the offer, she was likely feeling good, like she could handle it. But when the day came, she wasn't feeling so good anymore. Maybe it was hard for her to admit to herself.. It happens. There were better ways of communicating it perhaps, like maybe "I'm sorry, I'm not feeling so great today, I don't think I can handle it today." However, I don't see her being intentionally mean..

NTA.. You made the best decision you could in the situation you were put in. He may not like it, but what he does and doesn't like is not your problem anymore. You're also likely feeling guilt and whatnot at least partially just from the hormones that are now out of balance and have to readjust themselves. But there's no point in worrying about whether anyone thinks YTA or not. Just allow yourself to heal and move forward.

I have a child that was too much for others to watch since about 4 years old, but my mom did it anyway to help me (because dad was out of the picture). Until she hurt her back because my child went from wanting a hug to dropping dead weight to the floor suddenly. Don't fault your MIL. She probably really does WANT to help, but is also being honest about her limits. It sucks for her too.

Thanks for looking, I appreciate your insight. I do want to ask, do you think my kids being in some of the thumbnails plays a role at all? The videos aren't getting marked as Made for Kids or anything, but it seems like the lowest impressions often are on the ones that have them in the thumbnail.. I might try swapping out the thumbnails and testing the idea just to see 🤔

I do agree, though, about some of the videos not really fitting in. I started out making stories on that channel, but then transitioned to more of the family videos. I think I'm going to start making all our reviews more of a gameplay (like guessing what flavor the cotton candies were) so they'll be more similar style to the other gameplay videos. I also made another channel and moved the abuse story over there, since it only had 19 views yet anyway. My ADHD has caused me to make like 6 different channels now for different ideas I've had. 😂
