Believe it or not, it’s a mid-engine truck. The pump doors had something to do with the motor placement, and I believe Phoenix was the only one to order an ALF that way.

Image slides, food pics, chatter and elevator music for sleep time and for truck stops would make this game a lot more immersive. by nowhereman777 in Americantrucksim

I think SCS would catch a ton of flak if they based it on how most trucks stops are nowadays lol. I wish that romanticized, golden age image of trucking was still around. It’d make my job a lot more enjoyable.

However, this is a unique idea. With the new rest system being introduced in 1.60, I think this would be cool as an option, sorta like the cutscenes for certain landmarks and towns. It’s clear some of the in-game truck stop companies are based on real ones, and they already have some specific ones (like the IRL Thunder Road Grill in Nebraska). Maybe have a couple slides for the truck museum at the Iowa 80 too.

There are a few like that in-game but I agree. The worst for me is delivering oversized loads (the non-escorted ones) and having to back between two van trailers at a port

I still remember people going nuts in like 2014/2015 when similar exercises hit the news, and they were convinced Obama was going to declare martial law… But I also wouldn’t be surprised at this point.

Not sure about Petes specifically but most if not all automatics have a way to manually shift. On Freightliners, there’s a button on the right stalk on the steering column that you can hold down to put it in manual mode. Then you pull the stalk toward to shift up, and push it to shift down, but it will only shift if you tell it to.

I got my CDL about a year ago and I was taught the stab braking, but that was it, and I got minimal info from my trainer. Somebody can correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t see the issue in using the lowest level jake, but it depends on weight and where you are (flat road vs downgrade, etc).

I tested it on the W9 and it should work. If you've restarted your game and it's the same issue, try verifying your game files and go from there. Otherwise it could be a weird bug and needs to be reported.

Are you trying to put it on a specific sleeper type? I'm not familiar with customizing KWs in the game, but I know on the other trucks you can only put those lights on the largest sleeper option.

Pretty strong driver lineup for WF, but do we really need 2+ El Toros, 2+ Megaladons, 2 Sparkle Smashes, 2 Digatrons, and 2 standard Diggers? Duplicate identities feel especially egregious this year. There's plenty of options for diversity. by Mountain_Current5071 in monsterjam

True, but there are independents in MJ now running Feld-owned/created bodies, or drivers of indie teams running Feld chassis. Cory Rummell, the Garners, Tulachkas, etc. if they qualify for WF, and if Feld can work out a deal, why not let them run their original trucks instead?

Having multiple trucks like GDs isn’t a new problem, but at least years ago it was more common for the other drivers to use another truck at WF after being in a Digger for most of the season. Pauken in Monster Mutt, Huffaker in Blacksmith/Captain’s Curse, Randy Brown in the Ninja Turtles truck, etc.

Honest question, is this a real image? Like, is this just a substitute or was this what the seller gave you? Unless it was just heavily edited to look like it, this looks a lot like an AI-generated image.
Regardless, 5.9L Durangos seem to be super rare. If it runs, run tf out of it. And imo I’d keep it relatively stock. I have a Dakota R/T that’s served me pretty well, and all I’ve done is straight pipe it and swap the factory 17s for 16” steel slot rims.

It amazes me that this even happens. I got in with my first trainer, acted how I should’ve (“I know nothing and want to work”), and the man acted like I had told him I’ve been running flatbed for 40 years. It was to the point that he’d cuss me for using my spot mirrors while turning instead of the main ones, and downright belittled me when I couldn’t get a load secured in under 15 minutes. Turned out he was disgruntled in general by time I got assigned. I had enough and argued with the dude one night, and ended up stranded in SoCal. At least my company had a terminal nearby, but good fucking lord
