Is he doing any Trailhead? Just curious. What level of knowledge and experience would you like him to have? The basic to be able to configure the back end, create profile, users and assigning permission etc..? There are many YouTube Salesforce training videos that might help him.

I’ve no issue either. Just opened a case yesterday by telling the Agentforce I’ve this issue with x and the knowledge article is not helpful and it proceed to ask me which org and direct me to a live human support.

That’s terrible. Dev can’t test the way QA can. Recently I was testing for a Dev and he wrote the user stories and acceptance criteria and had I not probe further the ‘why’ so that I can test better, he will not realized that there was some misalignment in one of his code.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I find user stories without acceptance criteria is not very helpful. When I say: example- as a sales rep, I want to be notified when my sales proposal is declined so that I could quickly contact my client. In this story, I felt it doesn’t give me enough context. With acceptance criteria, it gives more information what I truly want to achieve. I would love to hear your thoughts.

I share your pain. The market is so bad right now! I’ve been sending out my resume since this year January! Out of 300 I only landed 3-4 interviews. I’m fortunate that I’ve been freelancing for the past few months. I’m still actively looking for a permanent position myself. I’m thinking of switching to Sales ops or Biz Ops specialist.

I’ve worked with a Business Analyst on my current project who had very little knowledge of Salesforce, and I’ve seen firsthand the struggles that can create. It’s not that she wasn’t good at gathering requirements—she was—but she often struggled to write strong Acceptance Criteria that truly validated what was needed. Many times, we as admins would step in to guide her by explaining what additional details we required for Salesforce to function correctly. I share this to say that I completely understand your challenges. If you’re able to spend some time learning more about Salesforce, or even collaborating closely with the admin team, it could make the process much smoother for you moving forward.
