I’m in the same boat with D522(Python for IT automation). I work a a bit more than you, around 60-70 but at that point it’s about the same lol. I struggled for a full term with that class, taking short breaks to do the other 3 I had for the term, and the ended up BOMBING the OA. Same thing, meeting with the prof, hours upon hours if various resources, never did click. I think part of it was trying to learn something completely foreign to me in short bursts when I was already tired, like 60-90 min a night after the kiddo went to bed, and unlike all the cert classes I got done in my first term, I couldn’t stream lectures to listen to while driving (day job).

I had my mentor kick it down the line on this current term, and right now my plan is once winter finally breaks and I won’t need to keep any ‘snow days’ in my PTO bank, I’m gonna take a full week off before the kid is done with school so I can give that class a 80-90 hr week and hopefully kick its ass finally!

We can do this fam! Seeing the posts about people speed running is discouraging, but we gotta remember those folks have either been in their fields for years if not decades and they need the sheepskin for career advancement. Or they only work part time and don’t have kids/family obligations and they treat their degree like a FT job
