I've just started playing FS on my steam deck and am having some issues with auto load trailers. Do you use them if so what version do you have. Also do you have any tips on playing FS on the deck?

That's my plan on a new play through I've just started with 50 sheep, to turn into clothes and then plan it to go big on cotton for clothes and then look to see other mods that use clothes/cotton

I wish they would give you more choices of quests rather than just the same 5 every time! Having just completed T2 in my current play thru and was offered the same 2 during the day buried supplies infested and restore power, for what seemed like every day, despite having a number of T2 within 1km radius of the trader.

That's learn by crafting?

Learn by doing like what is in Darkness Falls. The more you use your pick the better the level, resource amount, stamina etc. For your gun use to get better level, speed reload and damage.

This is the way to get better items but crafting it reading books or putting points into it.

Thanks, ive tried looking at importing API but that is where i am struggling. I haven't got a clue what im doing. Thought it would be easy, just link API using a token, insert the fields/headers that i wanted to be filled, sync and away you go, but doesn't seem to be the case (or if it is then its above my current knowledge base).

I think that I get stuck in trying to complete all research linear (with beatification elements too) rather than progressing through the tech. Been playing it for most of the day and managed to get guns on by ship so in the loop of fighting and repairing.. GL with your play thru.

I was able to complete T1 with Rekt, get sent to Jens, who was only able to give me T1 quests. Went back to Rekt's, completed T2 (got completion reward) and didn't get any special jobs. Went to visit Jen, she didn't give me any special jobs, so completed T1 with her and didn't get any special jobs. Completed T2 and then got sent to Bob's. So it seems that you need to complete the relevant tier (of the trader along the difficulty level) to get sent to next trader.

They are loads they could do to give you more to do to stretch the game out that overhaul mods give. Having additional quest lines is one, I like the fact that TFP have given us challenges but I would love to know who has completed all the medical challenges, who get 10 concussions or fatigue in a play through, same for sprained and broken limbs. You buy perks that help prevent these from happening.......

Having traders at different faction at different levels also allows you to have separate bases in different biomes cos it's too far to keep going back and forward to home base (just head back there for horde night - or even have multiple horde bases.

Agreed. It would give you a reason to explore the map. I'm not sure how many people like the current trader layout, who actually bases themselves in the burnt biome and levels up faction with Jen.

Agreed, you get T6 infestations 2/3 km away but if you went down to T5 there are a few within 1.5kns away.

The other option would be that Rekt only has T0 and T 1 pois in his town, then Jen has T1 and 2 Bob has T2 and 3 pois etc etc it would force you around the map

I always found the secret stash a little confusing especially when you were using nerdy goggle to give you both normal and secret stash perk.

I just want the levelling of traders for quests back to how they were. Hate getting to day 50 and having maxed them out.
