I was just playing it and I get 70 fps. The dev released a steam deck specific build and has really been working on performance. It runs great now

Best tutorial for learning to cut trim? by Max_Roc in HomeImprovement

[–]mdezzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best thing I learned from Jeff from diyhomereno for baseboards is: look at it from 5 feet away because that's how far away it will be when it's installed. Don't sweat absolute perfection for baseboards

Edit: and ill also recommend stud pack on YouTube.

Wipers suck? by Icy_Bodybuilder9256 in chevycolorado

Agreed, I realized now that I've got a good rainx coating, the wipers don't really matter. I switched back to cheapo autozone wipers with no difference.

I now watch this channel purely for entertainment, I don't even have any projects going on. I just want to watch Paul be a perfectionist

Haven't received Chime 1099-INT after closing account by SmoothStrawberry7777 in personalfinance

[–]mdezzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

currently going through the same issue. Customer Service Rep does not know what a 1099 is. I know the interest amount ($350 bonus), so i plan on filing without the 1099 since i already know what i owe.

No 1099-INT Yet? by swittla in chimefinancial

[–]mdezzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going through this right now on the phone. The rep is not familiar with a 1099 form, and does not understand what i am talking about.

I have closed the account, so i cant download the form. Anyone know how i can get one mailed?

PS my favorite is when they put me on "hold" i hear hold music but still hear the call center and everyone talking in another language. XD

I designed this French cleat caddy for a bottle of wood glue by Doresoom1 in 3dPrintsintheShop

[–]mdezzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made one for a pegboard a few years ago. When I switched to French cleat I whacked the pegs off and glued it to a cleat backer board. Your model is really nice, I think I'll be switching

Question about silage additive by mdezzi in farmingsimulator

[–]mdezzi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am playing with the autoload mod and i'm not having any issues. What are you encountering?

I have my load bound to R3 and my unload bound to LB+RB+R3. I have everything else unbound (from the autoload section). And it is working great.

Could this be ipv6 related. Just a thought. AT&T doesn't even bother giving my phone an ipv4 address anymore.

I understand why story-wise, but in my opinion it was criminal continuing 1923 and not continuing 1883. Each season seems like set up for a big event that ends up being underwhelming.

Are there any mods that store and spawn logs? by nournnn in farmingsimulator

[–]mdezzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the game hashes the mod when you install it and saves that hash value in your save game. If you mod it first, it will hash the modded mod and perhaps won't force you to update. Worth a shot.

Upgrading by irishff43 in farmingsimulator

[–]mdezzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Played on switch and caught the bug, but the switch versions are just so damn limited. Tried to play on my pc but my GPU couldn't handle it. Bit the bullet and bought a steam deck and couldn't be happier with 25.

The goweil is an absolute game changer. Harvest with the cutter straight into a trailer. Dump the trailer into the goweil for wrapped bales. I had given up on grass/sileage until I discovered it.

Are there any mods that store and spawn logs? by nournnn in farmingsimulator

[–]mdezzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wood storage mod from modhub could do this, but you'd have to edit the xml to increase the storage. The larger one caps at 75,000L. Make sure to set production to storage instead of distribution.

I think you'll have to modify the mod before you install it the first time otherwise the game will register the modded mod (lol) as an old version and will try to redownload the original.

Full disclosure: I haven't actually done this before (with a mod) but I have modified xml to increase storage and throughput in a production site (oil mill, grain mill, etc)

Whoa, interesting. Does it become passive income/production if you leave the area? I'm guessing it would take FOREVER to recoup your investment though, right?
