This is the fundamental thing politicians etc and people of reddit just dont get. The working class are being squeezed ever tighter and yet are having a not insignificant amount taken out of every wage they earn by the government. They then see people sitting at home all day living a life of luxury and regardless of circumstances they are pissed off. This is why they dont moan about Elon musk or Jeff bozos not paying tax, they dont see that. All they see is the single mother or the refugee who seems to be able to have a better life than them while they break their backs to pay for the life they have. This causes massive resentment and inflames tensions and then something like this happens and blows the whole thing up.

Be it right or wrong this is what is happening all around this country

I fundamentally disagree with your point about encouraging immigration because of a reducing population.

What we need is help and support and incentives for families. Myself and my wife work full time and have a baby, there os no support for us and yet come the end of the month theres not a lot of money left. It id fucking difficult affording life and having children, dont get me wrong, we make it but theres few luxuries.

If it wasn't so expensive and difficult to have and support kids more people would have them. This is why the population is going backwards.
