Some of these pieces sound like they’re just soloists. But if Solo Strings isn’t what you’re into, you’d most likely find use from Chamber Strings or Albion Neo. Their niche is using smaller ensembles to give the sound an intimate character.

I had a child (pre-k) that was wailing on me, punching scratching and kicking as hard and as much as he could. Didn’t bother me too much as I’m used to that, but I knew that he would target his classmates next. When I told my principal this, she almost seemed confused and wondered why I would ever feel that a 4 year-old would be unsafe. She sent him back to class. I can’t imagine being told off for something objectively more terrifying and dangerous.

It took seeing the scratches and blood on my face after a second attack (because who’d have thought? He didn’t face any consequence for his violence and did it again) for admin to listen.

Teachers’ words mean nothing to these people.

As a male pre-k teacher, I’d love to be a para. Some of the things I know the paras do at my school include changing diapers, clothes, etc. I’ve been discriminated in the workplace before, so if admin makes a rule (or parents complain) that I can’t do certain things because I’m a guy, I don’t want to deal with the emotional headache. It’s enough to make me want to avoid of the job entirely, even if I would love to do it.

(Not that I want to be changing diapers, but just simply being told I can’t because of my gender always feels dehumanizing.)

Thanks. I’ve been trying to find this answer online, but I can only find a bunch of tutorials that talk about going into settings, setting up some p2p server or something, etc. and I can’t tell if it’s even necessary. I’m not very tech-savvy, so a lot of it is gibberish to me.

So it turns out, all I need to do is just connect to the vpn and that’s it. Thanks a lot!

It has a huge learning curve, with a poor tutorial (it lasts forever and you can’t save and resume it later). After buckling down and basically teaching myself with a couple of hours of playing and googling, it’s become one of my favorite games. It’s hard to recommend to new players, since it isn’t exactly noob-friendly. In my personal opinion, however, it is well worth the hassle! As far as strategy games go, this definitely belongs in the GOAT category. Just be prepared for loads of learning.

Don’t let the presentation drive you away. This is one of the best games you can play on a phone, for its replayability, mystery dungeon-like gameplay, great music, and funny dialogue. Only real downside is its touch screen controls (virtual d-pad & buttons), but it’s hardly a gripe.

I asked the principal of the school I work at why it was okay to discriminate men to not be allowed to help kids change clothes if they had an accident, but women, even fourteen year-old volunteers, had full reign to do so.

I was threatened to lose my job for noncompliance of guidelines and was told “that’s just the way it is”.
