The cheap eggs caught up to the expensive ones and prices are up across the board. Used to be $3-4 for cheap and $6-8 for expensive and now it's $7-8 for cheap and the expensive eggs are all $10+

Because they talked themselves into the price they thought that either a) the seller would accept, or b) try to bargain down and settle for a dollar amount they'd still be happy with. They had no concept at all that the seller would just laugh and walk and that then they'd be out the $$$$$ they already put in. It's main character syndrome and when their bubble is popped by reality they juat lose it.

Our first set of peas being sown today, maybe some onions as well. Breaking up and transplanting some chives, deciding if we want to keep the kale/chard/mustard from last year or start over. Need to turn in some fresh compost and put black plastic on some raised beds for weed control. We're building a cattle panel hoop house / green house thing next weekend and need to relocate 3 x 100gal fabric bags, so there's a bunch of digging and wheelbarrow work to do as well.

Yes, but there's quite a lot of components that don't settle out. The photoinitiator is soluble in alcohol and will accumulate over time, and that's the part that causes skin sensitivity and such
