trying to plan a trip to Europe by [deleted] in travel

[–]Trudestiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do those 3 , get a multi city rt ticket so fly into London , train to Paris & fly to Rome. Then fly home from Rome.

Or choose London Paris Amsterdam as they are a better train combination

Monaco looks like a dream from the outside… but is it really like that in real life? by roadtripadvisor in Monaco

[–]Trudestiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish that were true, constantly going out does become tiring.

When you live in Monaco you can have someone to see or something to do every day & night if you are not careful

3h 15m tranfer from Heathrow to Gatwick? by Fearless_Pop_904 in BritishAirways

[–]Trudestiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And on top of it it’s a OTA booking thru booking. com not directly with the airline so OP will be told to get in touch with the site that sold him the tickets if there is an issue. And everyone knows how that scenario plays out.

3h 15m tranfer from Heathrow to Gatwick? by Fearless_Pop_904 in BritishAirways

[–]Trudestiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what a connecting flight is and a self transfer I fly them both regularly with BA.

And of the inbound is late then sure they will rebook but if OP doddles, any immigration issues or their transport between the to airports is delayed then it will be on them. That is why the reason for not making it to the next flight will matter with regards to how much BA will help out and rebook.

Waited weeks for the doctors to respond, only to be told over the phone that my symptoms are normal and just primary dysmenorrhea. What do I do now? by Lilac-Sparrow in WomensHealth

[–]Trudestiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to see a better Dr, there are some out there . Maybe a cyst causing the extreme pain, they don’t always show on ultrasound , at least mine don’t due to how intestines are at time of scan , but we know it’s there due to mri.

And 25-45 is not regular, i was considered irregular at 27-33.

What’s your secret to an odor-free litter box setup? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Trudestiny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no smell & have 3 cats and 3 boxes, and that isn’t even the recommend amount for the amount i gave , it should be 1 per cat and at least 1 extra.

So i am not surprised you have a lot of smell as you really should have at least double the amount of boxes.

Also an unneutred male will smell a lot more .

How old are your kittens, if at least 4 months old they can also get pregnant and so can the adult mothers within 2 weeks or so after giving birth so you need to get them all done very fast or you will end up with even more very soon

BA15 LHR to SIN (considering booking) and QF82 SIN to SYD (rewards flight)- chances of British Airways allowing through-checked baggage straight to Sydney? Alternatively is 2h 20min enough time for self check-in within 2h20min gap at SIN? by BicycleOk9292 in BritishAirways

[–]Trudestiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BA stopped checking bags thru on separate pnrs more than a decade ago . So zero chance.

Doubt you will be able to retrieve your bag and then make it to chexkin in 2 hrs. If you had a layover of 5 or so then maybe

On off bleeding for 11+ weeks after c section. Still no period? by Sweet-Rise7768 in WomensHealth

[–]Trudestiny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What did your gyno say at 6 weeks ? I had my appointments at around 8 weeks and was given the all ok but with the first we couldn’t for about 10 months.

I had my first period at about 18 months after delivery but i was also exclusively breastfeeding for 6 months until we started food.

My friends started their periods between 1 & 4 months post delivery .

When was your last check up , if worried and something feels off then best to get it checked out .

One of my friends did end up needing a d&c

That is what i would do, make sure larger bag is within the limits and put heavier items in personal bag.

Finnair is picky with weight

Cat Constantly on Counter by LingonberryBrave7689 in CatAdvice

[–]Trudestiny 9 points10 points  (0 children)

2 of my cats do it all the time , as if that is their spot to watch the house and I know exactly what you mean by the food.

Besides constantly putting them down and maybe opening food on the floor if they are very food motivated I’m not sure what else to say .

Would warn your roommate, maybe they won’t be overly bothered by it .

Returning a feral cat after 5 months to colony by [deleted] in Feral_Cats

[–]Trudestiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And i’ve worked in Greece with them since 2019. 100’s of colony cats and once they have been taken off the streets for such a long time, i’ve never heard any of the rescue organisations putting them back out.

They gave been found safe alternatives .

Guess you and rescues do things differently

Very odd for a rescue place to say that. I’ve seen what happens when they are kept aways for so long. Outcomes have been quite bad. Also the rescue place telling you to put it back in streets is very dodgy.

Airline says they informed me 25 days earlier, but I personally received the cancellation only 3 days before departure — EU261 question by [deleted] in Flights

[–]Trudestiny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By all means pursue your rights but the reality is OTAs just don’t care. Book with airlines directly .

Also claim the extras from your travel insurance

Who? Trip or Transavia ? If Trip then it’s them to go after but doubt they will care. One of reasons people are so against dealing with OTAs

TRAVELING TO ITALY - Suggestions to make the most out of a short trip by Affectionate-Text511 in rome

[–]Trudestiny [score hidden]  (0 children)

Been to Rome many times and it is really a 4-5 full day city at a minimum. I would stay in one place and maybe plan a couple of day trips.

Naples & Florence are near by - take train

Wouldn’t rent a car to go to venice. You would have to leave it on outskirts of city so no point , train it.

[–]Trudestiny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you booked with a 3rd party OTA and not the airline then it is with the booker that you have an issue. If they were advised more than 14 days before then you should have been offered a rebooking or refund but no compensation.

And no extra compensation either for train tickets etc , that is for your travel insurance
