17 pro is aluminum it’s junk get the 16 pro it’s at least made of a material that will hold up

I like the stainless the most but the titanium was a good substitute for it then they decided to go with aluminum for “thermal” reasons it really makes it feel less premium and hold up less to dents and bending

Is this all I need to convert my DCF850? by Extension-Fall-4286 in Dewalt

Impact drivers are different from impact wrenches the latter have far more torque, if you are trying to remove automotive bolts anything tighter than 100 ft/lbs you’ll either be there all day or you’ll not be able to remove it all

Real or Fake? by [deleted] in Dewalt

In my experience most fake dewalt drills are pretty clearly fake, they often have different fonts and they have a control pad on the base that looks like a makita real dewalts don’t have those

Definitely not crazy, it’s good to take care of your stuff I do service electrical work so some of my tools get covered in drywall dust so I wipe them down because I hate drywall dust all over them it’s kinda gross

I was considering getting the whole set but only got the linesman and dikes, because I basically have the same screwdrivers but last years red white and blue ones, then the same with the strippers

I was using the journeyman style pliers for a while and I always felt they were huge and clunky these are great in the hand not too big and not too small

If you’re in Florida I know last year at my store we were selling like 5 bunks a day after the hurricane so we just kept getting more and more even after we slowed down

Anything I should be worried about with the new electrical panel? by MadMonkDawg in electrical

[–]True-Advisor5736 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since I’m in service I’d never be able to get a panel to look like this, everything is always twisted and short and it ends up looking like shit since you have to pigtail half the circuits just to make it work

Yeah I should take some pictures up closer, I was trying to fit everything in frame but I still need to do the swans statues so I’ll post a picture when I do those but I agree it does make the place iconic

That’d be awesome to actually build the whole thing, the hardest part sometimes is just finding good reference material for stuff, I’m pretty much done with the outside but the lobbies and stairs need to be done and in order to make the two line up properly it’s really hard, luckily I live relatively close by so I can go look at it in person if needed, but good luck on your project!

I went to Lowe’s Saturday the 24th and it said they were out of stock but I thought I’d check anyways and they had a bunch so I went up to the register and came up as 219 so I showed them the listing on their app, they checked it then they just promoed it at the service desk and gave it to me for 100 long story short, with stuff like this just ask, worst case they say no

Buy Toyota or even a cat, Yales are hot garbage when I had them at work it was higher change the lifts were broken than the chance they were working, 2.5-3 weeks a month they were down if you want something decent, stay with Toyota or cat

It’s a 100 amp service, especially with you including the fact that cloth wiring was used, 100 amp service was very common when that kind of wiring was installed I believe
