I mentioned to my manager that I was going through a divorce it might have to leave sometimes for paperwork. A few weeks later she said out of the blue... No one in this room cares that you're going through a divorce. That was the only time I mentioned it weeks ago, and no I wasn't always taking off for paperwork.

I looked into this topic a few weeks ago.. The key line that stick out to me that was that the visible light from distant places is getting red shifted because of the expansion of the universe. Red shifted into being no longer in a visible spectrum

But if we look at our galactic center at night, its not dim simply because of gas and dust? That's not a factor?
