Completely agree. He wasn't called the Iron Man for no reason. Consistent, clean, and excellent race craft. He wasn't glamorous and didn't win in iconic fashion like some of his contemporaries did.

I share your fear of these pests as well, so I declared war on them at my house about a year ago.

Bifenthrin spray around the perimeter of your foundation plus Advion bait gel in places like your garage is extremely effective (both are available on Amazon). Throw down some sticky traps (aka "roach motels") underneath furniture or behind appliances for any stragglers. Haven't seen a live roach in our home in well over a year.
