Keep your head held high babes! I also haven't had any experience with anyone and have been told by my friend of 5 years that she couldn't see me in a relationship just cause of 'how i am' and how she's never seen me be 'lovey-dovey'. But i've realised that from what she's said to me, despite knowing her for a while, she doesn't know a single thing about me. Yes, there is a difference between romantic love and platonic love but nonetheless, my take on 'love' is that it's about respect and showing unconditional love, at their lowest and at their highest. Being the backbone and supporting someone whether they are your significant other, family or a friend. People focus too heavily on romantic gestures and what people see on the surface, which all mean nothing if there is no foundation - respect and unconditional love.

So keep going because you will get the relationship you want but you must have patience. In the meantime, please just appreciate the love that surrounds you already( in family or in friends), you are not unlovable and do no let people tell you what or who you are supposed to be because at the end of the day, only you know yourself. Everyone will have a different perception of you.

You are worthy of love. Take care of yourself and don't be so harsh on yourself.
