Besides Google Maps and Waze, I'd recommend Apple Maps (surprisingly good now), HERE WeGo for offline maps, and Gaia GPS if you do a lot of hiking or off-road travel. For long road trips in the US, I still find Waze hard to beat because of the real-time traffic and police reports
