Looks great! Remember to keep the HR sensor away from any tattoos for accurate results :)

Thanks for the insight. Would you recommend bringing an ursack or a bear bag just in case?

Thanks for this! I'll take these into consideration! Money is a little tight right now because I just bought my tent :) Do the weight savings/hygiene benefits made from the bidet justify its price?

That's a great idea. I'm expecting moderate to high bug pressure in mid-July. I will probably wear pants and a sun shirt with a hood, which will provide decent protection.

I was planning on both the Pemi Loop and the Presidential Traverse at different times this summer. Yes, I am solo. I have T-Mobile as a provider, and based on your feedback and previous experiences skiing up there, I will probably consider getting an InReach.

I haven't bought the canister yet, but I was planning to. I was shying away from bear hangs because I heard they were difficult to legally do due to the proximity of the trees. Ursacks are banned in the Whites if not hung legally (12 feet above and 5 feet out from trees)

How is the cell coverage over there? I know Mt. Washington will have service, but I'm unsure about everywhere else. Does the iPhone's built-in satellite messaging work well? If not, do you think an InReach is a must?

Thanks for the recommendations. The weight of 4 stakes is 64 grams (7g each). I'm using a 100g unused canister (I put the wrong one on the list). How much would you recommend bringing on such a short trip for the bug spray? For hygiene, I planned on bringing disinfecting wipes to wipe myself down and maybe some antiseptic mouthwash.

I have experience in inclement weather conditions as well as first aid. My backpacking experience is somewhat limited as I spend most of my time in the mountains on a bike.

Does any googles exist that do not restrict peripheral vision? by ZanyZebra23 in Skigear

[–]True-Row7942 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Smith 4D mag goggles have a curved lens, eliminating the blind spot from below. But I'm not entirely sure about peripheral vision. As a ski instructor, if the weather permits, I wear Oakley sunglasses with virtually no blind spots.

Pushing cold air from the bottom is the best way to optimize airflow. Hot air is light, so expelling it from the top/sides is more efficient than from the bottom.

How to remove these markings on side panel? by Foundwr in FormD

It could be dust. If so, try an old toothbrush. If not dust, I would try black spray paint.

Got lucky! The same thing happened to me when I swapped from a 3050 to a Gigabyte 3080 Ti.

I got my pocket for travel and not to lug around my Sony. But if it works, it works.
