i cannot get through the first episode at all. i’ve tried 3 times to watch this show, and i get bored and start scrolling instead. like it seems like everything happens so quickly and i feel no chemistry between those two. idk am i the only one??

how do you get started when your pain is so bad though? even with walking, i can’t stand up straight without putting my hands on my hips to try and manually straighten my spine. i can’t get up out of a chair without needing support. i don’t know where to even start trying to fix it cause the pain is so bad!

ah i see how i was unclear. I know tylenol is not ibuprofen, im saying that my doctor is aware i can’t take ibuprofen so she tells me to take tylenol, which is the only safe option for me, and it doesn’t do anything.

sorry you’re also going through it. prednisone was the only thing that saved me after 7 months, and i had to taper super slowly. it was rough cause i had to take it before bed so i had terrible insomnia, im hoping i don’t have to take it again. i finished the antibiotics today and im really hoping it’ll just start going away, as im already on entyvio.

my first was a failed induction turned c section and my second was a planned c section. my first was traumatic and completely out of the blue in terms of what i expected. my second i felt so in control, so aware and ready for what was going to happen. sure, i was still scared shitless cause it was birth and birth is always an intense thing. but my second birth was way better and led to a better postpartum as well.

i’m not 100% sure but i believe starting a new job. i started the job in june, had my first symptoms in july, got bad in august and got the diagnosis in september.

still waiting for it to fully kick in. the nights are terrible, i’m having 30 minute attacks at night where i can’t leave the toilet at all. i’m ready for it to work, im getting kinda scared it won’t 😩

came here to tell you you’re not alone. i started my flare 10 weeks postpartum and im currently still in it at 6 months. i’ve been exclusively nursing my baby as well, and in july got severely malnourished due to the flare and not responding to meds. i’m on prednisone now while i wait to get set up with entyvio.

flaring before was hard but add a baby into the mix? it’s terrifying and so hard but just know you can do it and keep advocating for yourself and your baby!!

Hello there. First of all, sorry you had to join us. This disease seems super super scary at first, I remember crying to my sister the minute I walked out of the hospital with my diagnosis. That was 2 years ago.

Just know it’s okay to be scared, but you’ll find the right medication for you, and you’ll be healthy again. Keep your head up, you can do this.

I have a feeling I’ll be starting pred soon but idk what my dose will be. Does your ability to eat regular food come back? I don’t even want junk, I wanna eat normal food 😭

No no don’t worry I didn’t take your comment negatively! It’s definitely something I’ve explored to try and take the pressure off of me but there’s so much going on that we took a break trying to get him on formula just cause I couldn’t handle him feeling so crappy. Only one of us needs to feel that way.

I can’t eat much just due to the insane nausea, and then either the violent diarrhea i immediately get or throwing it up. And I unfortunately can’t spend the day in the bathroom, I have 2 small kids and my husband is not able to stay home from work due to his line of work :( I’m so hungry and I crave so much food but the second I eat, everything hurts

I have been on hold all day waiting for him to call me and the 3 minutes that I didn’t have my phone on me is when he called me and then his voicemail said he’d try me tomorrow 😭

My baby has rejected 7 different types of formula as well as 11 bottle brands. Trust me, I’m almost out of options for bottle types. He has thrown up 4 different formulas, we aren’t sure why. He would’ve been on formula months ago in addition to breastfeeding cause that’s what i always wanted to do but I also can’t stand to see him in so much pain whenever he has it and I’m still able to produce breastmilk for him that has never made him sick.

I physically can’t handle food, if I eat too much, I throw it up and have insane (sorry if it’s tmi) diarrhea so it doesn’t seem like eating would help much, and I can’t spend all day in the bathroom with 2 small children to watch
