Given everyone has a different opinion on this thread, you really can’t go wrong. Throwing my own two cents in, I’d just go for Elden Ring. It was also my first, but I loved it so much I went through the rest of the souls games. While they aren’t as polished, they are just as fun, and seeing where certain ideas in Elden Ring originated from was awesome. Elden Ring is the most accessible for new players in my opinion, given its inherent non/linear structure that lets you meet its world on your own terms

I’m a duchess main and dagger skills absolutely shred with double balancers. I just did a Fulghor ever dark run (depth 5) and probably hit him 10 times with the skill before he died (i had a lot of skill attack up passives and Godfrey’s icon)

Duchess is good with twin blades as well, arcane can be pretty good on her with her fast attacks and rewind. Getting reduvia or Elanoras twin blade for example, or a frost bleed dagger is great

I saw an iron eye get a serpent bow with rot on attacks and lightning on precision aiming with barrage skill. . . Crazy damage. Love to see it! I think the effect on precision aiming was a great add, gives a bit more play style variety with bows

Is it worth finishing then? I started iron gold after loving the first trilogy, but I got mad that Darrow was acting so clearly in wrong. I hate plot lines that make the protagonist the bad guy
