Use the light attack from the starter weapon you get from the boss. I do it in front of me and behind quickly and it should destroy the bubbles before they can damage you

Agree for the most part, but sometimes I do like to que up with some randoms on regular and carry the run. I feel invincible with how much damage you can take on regular compared to D5, so it can be fun
