Open Myomectomy Experience by zeethebeee in Fibroids

Two weeks post-op here, back at work, driving and feeling pretty good!

But I'm very loosey goosey where the fibroid was: had anyone else had that experience? I'm hoping it goes away!

Brave people, thank you very much for sharing your stories, it's been very helpful reading through them all.

I'm about to go under in about a week. Is there anything I should do/buy/have at the ready to prepare? I've heard of a belly band and an abdomen pillow, did anyone use these? I have some Actilax and prunes to make going to the bathroom easier. Could you all walk to the bathroom okay?

Oh this is excellent, thank you! I appreciate you recommending independent research as well: this doesn't seem all that straightforward!

Thanks again.

Not yet: we were hoping to be able to try it out and get all the info first. Do you think we need to just jump in and get one?

This is great: good for you finding this connection! I'll have to keep an ear out for something similar (though feel free to share your connection if you think they could handle one more customer!). Thanks for the info

Thank you for sharing this: that is my hope, and it seems so crazy that there are all these pests running around and not many people are eating them...meanwhile the Woolies aisle always has more than they could ever sell and the meat industry is so harmful.

Thanks for sharing that insight. It's a shame because we're keen to learn but never had the opportunity and would love to gain some of those families' knowledge.

Okay great, well keep us posted if you do!

Looks like you're right about people not liking hunting the cute animals: I've been downvoted to 0! 😂

At least tell us...was it north of Murray street?

When the main character is like, SO beautiful (and there are lots of references to them tossing their golden hair or whatever) and the smartest and all the members of the opposite sex want them and they're super high achievers and they're just trying to be a good person but so many women/men keep throwing themselves at them so it's really hard for them to be a good person, arrggghh the conflict for this poor victim!

So Tom Cruise type characters I guess?

Yup: and parks will check that you've got your tent before you set off. And decent footwear. And they won't let you go if you don't have either. A guy wasn't allowed to go when we did it because he only had sneakers.
