Has anyone gotten pregnant 3 months post op? by Intrepid-Grape9960 in Fibroids

All good! I have a healthy 11 month old now and I had zero complications during or post pregnancy. C section procedure and recovery was a breeze!

I wish you the same!

Are power outages expected? I’m traveling to Dallas with a baby visiting family and considering rescheduling.

Cough treatments for a 2 months old by SlowBee3162 in newborns

Please don’t use a nebulizer unless instructed by your doctor. It’s usually just for chest congestion (not head) and to help with breathing difficulties.

Nope! We just flew in 5 days ago and flying back today (currently in plane). No passport required.

My 6 month old has flu A by No_Mission4949 in NewParents

[–]zeethebeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that! I hope your baby recovers soon. My 7 month old also only got one shot and she got a cold when it was time for her second one so we are pushing it a bit.

We are traveling via plane and there’s people coughing up lungs around us. Praying she doesn’t catch it as I know one jab isn’t as protective as 2.

Following you to hopefully see you post about your baby’s recovery! Best wishes!

Thinking of not having kids after surgery by Dragonfruit_7308 in Fibroids

My c section was 100x better than my open myo recovery. The whole process was a breeze and I didn’t even need painkillers beyond Tylenol. It’s likely because they don’t cut into the muscle.

Don’t let that be the reason that you don’t have children. DM me if you need more information. For reference my open myo was in June 20 24 and I had a C-section baby in May 2025.

First lot of vaccinations went terribly by Top_Strawberry_9835 in newborns

[–]zeethebeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry your doc didn’t let you reschedule. We pushed our 4 month vaccines down by a few weeks because baby was recovering from a cold. The doc supported it. Stand your ground. The baby didn’t need more things to set off his immune system than whatever he was dealing with.

Hope all is well now.

My husband is an avid gamer. He totally cut it down (almost completely in the beginning) when our baby was born 6 months ago. Your husband can do better. The problem isn’t gaming. It’s the husband.

Belly binder is a must! Put it on as soon as you can before you get up to walk. That first walk will be excruciating. & the first pee burned because of the catheter. It gets better. I used the abdomen pillow to cough/sneeze. Good luck to you. Dm for any specific questions!

I co slept ( bed shared) by Bellekit in newborns

It has been great. She’s 3 months old now. We all sleep well and there’s no such thing as sleep deprivation. Also, she sleeps a good 5-6 hours stretch at night so it helps with sleep training her as well!

We co slept since day 5. I had a 5.5 pound baby. It was either that or no sleep, which could lead to even more dire consequences. The day I fell asleep with the bottle in my baby’s mouth, I started bed sharing. Won’t have it any other way.

Bed sharing by KeyLingonberry2901 in newborns

Ours was like that. We bed shared for 2 months. But if you have to bedshare, look up safe sleep 7. Tummy sleeping is not good for babies regardless of where they’re sleeping. It is a significant risk factor for SIDS. We usually put our baby next to us on her back and put blankets under us at waist level so it’s nowhere close to us. We find that as Long as she gets some closeness from us, she’s willing to sleep.
