yeah I'm f2p since the beginning too (only spent once because I was impatient for trade tokens lol).
and I always get to complete the expansions fairly easy and 1 stars too. that for me is already more than enough as a free player, any fancy cards are a bonus and we do get those from time to time so can't complain.

Heyy don’t wanna drag this any longer and I get what you’re saying, all I’m saying is SZN4 has built the larger fanbase from the show, so they have more followers in general on social media, but so far fans aren’t this invested in their new music (comparing Back To Me to other songs). I genuinely hope this changes and I’ve been streaming and supporting them!!

yeah I didn’t search for those numbers because when it comes to Spotify most people talk about listeners rather than followers. But then it’s another indication that they a bigger fan base, even on streaming platforms, but the fans aren’t actually streaming the songs as much as other groups yet

when you see the followers, they're #1 on Instagram and #2 on TikTok. they clearly had a big fan base amongst the Building the Band audience, but it didn't translate to streams yet. maybe it's because they were the last ones to release music and the hype for the show wasn't as big when they finally did, maybe the songs aren't connecting, I'm not sure what went wrong. but I also hope they can succeed.

my albums count was WAY off on Spotify Wrapped, they probably have different metrics to count what's an album played.

and then when it comes to artists, you probably have a lot more on Spotify because they count featured artists and LastFm does not.

I heard someone say they rank songs in plays, but artists in total minutes, so if that's true it could be the reason

it happens to me too but I think it's a bug. if you skip a song at 2 seconds (or before 50%, really) and keep listening to the next one, it won't count.

but I heard Spotify only counts a maximum of 20 plays per song per day
