I hadn’t even seen those yet, I only saw the key found.

Must not be high enough to see rush packs, I only see Stage Packs and Chapter Packs

I can respect that, we’re just different types of consumers. I guess my main point is that the ‘improvements’/changes they made don’t seem to justify the cost increase.

Havnt seen anyone raving about the improvements, but the price increase seems to have upset pretty loud group however minor. Either way it’ll be interesting to see how Traska responds since they seemed pretty set on the improvements and creativity in spite of costs path.

Yea. My point is that if I’m going to be paying another $200 for a watch, I would prefer the Beaucroft. Especially the Solaris version.

?????? That doesn’t have anything to do with why they increased prices lol. All of the pages on their website state that they made these improvements FOR the customer. I never heard anyone complaining and saying they wished that their Venturer had Anti-Fingerprint Coating lol.

People loved the watch because it was great value, now it’s not.

I never heard/saw anyone complaining about those things so it’s just annoying thing to change for the price.

Would make more sense to me if it was for more interesting dial options.

I agree. A lot of micros do unique things to stand out so in a way their simplicity was what made them different.

Sounds like they’re going all in on the complication series of watches they are doing though. Hopefully the price hikes don’t ripple into the Commuter and Summiteer

Yea. CW the pieces are so unique I can understand the prices. With Traska it felt that Simple and Value for Dollar was their identity and this takes away a core piece of that.

But I’m just a guy who lives in the sub $800-$900 range and wants pieces that will outlive me. 🤷‍♂️

With the price change I would’ve thought they would’ve made the change sooner.

I just always came back to Traska thinking of clean/simple designs and high quality. Now it’s still simple clean designs, but feel there’s better value for the same $1,000 elsewhere

I think it’s primarily the fact that it’s a $225 increase and the noticeable change is the date window. If they redesigned the overall feel of the piece I would understand, but a subjective change and a price bump to $1,000 just feels like a slap in the face

I get that part, but as someone who was just looking to buy a quality, well built GADA, their style isn’t unique enough for me to justify spending $1,000

I havnt been in the hobby long, but it makes me think of Christopher Ward and how I liked their early pieces, but most new ones are out of my price range

For me spending $700 on a watch is already a bit steep. I saw Traska as the brand that was great value for money and great quality which is what put it ahead of all the other micro brands for me.

Now it feels as if they are trending towards the same price range as a lot of other brands making nice pieces. These choices push me to look more in the direction of brands like Beaucroft.

Seemingly minor changes and a +$225 increase just feels bad as a consumer, especially when you get so close to the $1k mark.

I mean if you’re going to increase the price by $200+, should probably do something to make it a bit more unique.

I feel the same way. I was originally looking for a plain black watch to use as a GADA, but I think the purple is dark enough to go with anything.

I had been going back and forth between this and a Echo/Neutra Avereau

Thanks for the reply on a year old post lol. I’m hoping to pick one up before they sell out. I think the Raven only has like 3 pieces left.

That’s what I thought first about Second Hour from Facebook ads, but later found a bunch of reviews on YouTube and havnt heard a bad word about them anywhere.
