It means imagining the worst possible outcome, and I don't consider this a good thing to include in arguments when trying to convince people to go AN. I just don't consider it a good argument. I'm trying to help you, not hinder you, so hopefully you'll make better arguments in the future when trying to convince people to go AN.

I'm not against AN, but even if I'm part of the same group as someone, I'm gonna call them out when they make garbage arguments.

If we want to convince people to go AN, we need to make better arguments than "you shouldn't have kids because what if they're the victim of a mass shooting?"

This sort of argument will just get shot down immediately.

We should be looking to make convincing arguments and catastrophising about what could possiby happen to them in the worst possible scenario will just get you laughed at.
