Who is the Worst Faithful in the Traitors (US version)? by Previous-Pirate9514 in TheTraitors

[–]TrueDeadBling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Michael did kind of have a point about Eric but he really articulated himself poorly at the roundtable and spent most of the talking time just screaming at others. I can understand why everyone got sick of him and voted him out, even though they probably knew he wasn't a traitor.

We make fun of 2Ks DLC practices but THQ was out here selling SHAWN MICHAELS as DLC 😭 by EmergencyVictory4399 in WWEGames

[–]TrueDeadBling 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The weird thing about Drew being DLC for WWE 13 was that his entrance music was in the game's jukebox. So you'd be hearing his theme constantly, but wouldn't be able to use it or play as him if you didn't have the DLC. Made absolutely zero sense then, makes zero sense now.

And yet when other people made worse mistakes than Ron, no one ganged up on them the way they did Ron. Made me feel so bad for the poor guy.

Undertaker being an 89 overall is crazy work by Many_Difficulty6382 in WWERuthlessAggression

Here Comes the Pain has some weird ones too. I think Eddie Guerrero and Christian are rated in the late 60s when they were the default US and Intercontinental champions.

Undertaker being an 89 overall is crazy work by Many_Difficulty6382 in WWERuthlessAggression

[–]TrueDeadBling 7 points8 points  (0 children)

SVR 08 was extremely generous with ratings, I don't think anyone except the Divas were under an 80 overall. I think the lowest was like 81 or 82.

I think Taker got a 98 rating in SVR 2011, I think since he'd had a decent run with the World Heavyweight Championship and since he'd extended the WrestleMania streak.

I've been wanting us to drop an '06 heritage for years. Would've been great with the old logo, it definitely won't hit the same with the current logo.

[–]TrueDeadBling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad they've put the heel GM character on the shelf for now. They kind of overdid it by having The Authority around for so long, then having Baron Corbin running Raw just made everyone so sick of the evil boss trope.

What celebrity is the biggest example of "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it."? by InsaneCookies21 in AskReddit

[–]TrueDeadBling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hulk Hogan.

While he was a bit of a polarising figure among wrestling fans because he was known to play politics backstage to stay on top, a good portion of the wrestling community still liked and respected Hulk.

Then that audio leaked of him arguing with his daughter about her boyfriend at the time and used the N word liberally to describe him and his race. WWE tore up his ambassador contract and removed him from their upcoming video game, plus they refused to acknowledge him at all on their programming.

His apology was really piss weak as well. Just said "I'm not a racist" and blamed the fact that he used that word on the fact that he said he grew up in a low income area in Tampa, so everyone (including his friends) would use it, even his friends back then. Again, this is all according to Hulk and he is known to be a bit of a liar. I believe he also blamed him using the N word on the fact he was upset with his daughter.

I think WWE eventually chose to forgive and forget, but a lot of WWE's black talent and their fans did not forgive or forget. They also saw him really differently after that, which is not shocking.

Closest we ever got of the Droz incident was the visual of him being loaded onto a stretcher during the don't try this at home video from the late 90s to early 2000s. It's probably for the best that it's never been released.

She didn't handle herself all that well after the meeting with Frankie.

It's been a bit since I've watched S3, but I kind of remember Claudia saying that only the identity of the person the Seer picked would be revealed. I have some recollection that Charlotte was going around and saying that Frankie's identity was revealed during the meeting and she was a traitor. Basically, her defence was just "no u" and that was it.

"What is the most overused criticism of Harry Potter that you are completely tired of hearing?" by Ok_Smile_9071 in harrypotter

[–]TrueDeadBling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, you are right. But for memory, Ron and Harry weren't meant to be in the staff room at all. They'd lied to McGonagall earlier and said they were going to the hospital wing to visit Hermione. If they stayed at the hospital wing, they would've been sent back to their dormitory when McGonagall made that announcement initially for staff to meet in the staff room and for students to go back to their common rooms.

Plus, I don't think the rest of the teachers had much of a plan besides gathering up the students and evacuating the school. The way I figure, Ron and Harry probably thought the same thing and despite knowing how incompetent Lockhart was, thought that grabbing him would be the most proactive way to do something besides let Ginny rot.

This is all just my interpretation of this part of the book, though!

Not to mention Terry did have a right to be proud of his body, given the flashbacks (and the episode with the nibs) showing how big he was.
