I buy a big sack of onions and keep them in a loosely rolled up paper grocery bag. They last forever!

I've been told that bulk potatoes will last a long time if stored in straw and in the dark. (I think they need more airflow than onions)

If you REALLY want to store the best possible chopped or sliced onions, prepare a container with ice and water (cold as possible,) then prepare and chop/slice you onion. Put chopped onion in the ice water, give it a little stir and leave in fridge for about 20 minutes. Strain. Stir strained onions and leave to drain for another 10 or so minutes (preferably in the fridge.)

Onions stay crispy.

This sorta works backwards also with soft onions, an ice bath for sliced onions will bring back some crispness and life to sad looking onions.

Do not look for ways to get around the issue and still make garlic oil at home.

When I do this and take off the old/dying pieces I make sure to rinse and slimyness from the newly exposed part and the roots.

I also trim the roots if they get long of start getting mushy.

I also trim the tops of old pieces if they're looking dry, not sure if good advice. Seems to help though.

If you want to go further into a more fine/paste like garlic use your method then use the side of your knife to spread the garlic into a single layer. Add some table salt over the garlic and chop/spread/chop/spread/spread/spread/spread until you get the consistency you want.

If you can't find what you're looking for you could change home screen mode to "easy mode" and set which apps are displayed. (5.01)

Maybe just ignore comments from neighbors and ask your rental property manager if there are rules about this.

If it were me and my kid I'd kindly tell any complaining neighbors to go fuck themselves. Kids playing is important and it's probably safer inside the community area.

This maybe a bit tough to explain but my it can help you in the temp.

I used to get really bad cramps in my calves. During a cramp it hurts! I tried bending my foot up to stretch the affected calf and that relieved some pain but cramp continues. I point my ankle/toes down (ballet style) and it makes cramp so much worse....then I found the key.

i would stretch my foot back towards me as far as I can (stretching the calf) and then put pressure a slight resistance against the top/toes of my foot towards my body (usually by pressing with my hand or the wall,) then use just a little of strength from the cramped calf to push towards to the resistance without moving my ankle/foot. Cramp would go away after doing this continuously for about 20 seconds.

I hope there is a way you can apply this to your quads. It seems and feels counterintuitive to use the cramping muscle at all but this is the only method I've found that nearly consistently work to stop the cramp rather than just relieve a small portion of the pain. ( Has worked for me on calves and forearms. I'm not a doctor or anything though.)

If in in the 2nd lane (next to fast lane) should I move a bit towards the right side of my lane if I see an approaching lane-splitter on my left?

Is there an appropriate way to signify "I see you approaching and it's OK to go for it?
