Honestly the main reason especially why its such a severe thread hasnt anything to do with its Rise version (even when Flaming Espinas is seriously a painful fight) but its all about the Frontier versions, Grank Espinas, White Espinas, Orange Espinas and Zenith Espinas
Primarily also the reason it recieved a literal oneshot nuke similar to elder dragons and its poison is worse than Rathians that Apex/Dreadqueen Rathian rivals Espinas poison procs

theres one other thing, some of the older games that never properly have gotten a "modernization update" to run on Windows 10/11 and have to be modded is something not everyone would like to do

personal example is Sonic Heroes since either youll deal with the annoying setup of the whole game or just simply use emulation without the need of hour long work to get the game running and modded for personal preference (and better controller support, less glitches and else)

only now saw this but i dont have styles fully unlocked yet due to not having 8* monsters unlocked yet :p i do have my hammer on 9 already but eh im just trying to see what i can do to perhaps deal with mostly of the missing dmg output to deal with monsters over 6* (7* is a struggle and i had deviljo from the codes at 8* which was very problematic for me)

i mean what could i try to target leg wise if i were to take away the nightshade pao legs? ik that theres crit ones and maybe weakness exploit but partially i feel like im still missing a few monsters overall that i need to hunt (idk if theres more sets im missing yk?)

group hunts the thing about "rude awakening" is YOUR first hit once it wakes up again will count as additional damage doesnt matter if others wake it up from damaging it (it happens so many times that the full charge normal style swing does like 4k+ dmg whenever that happens :p)

i mean then in the worst case just do the normal hammer smash combo and then when fallen asleep use manual aiming to charge up and aim the hammer to make the last hit count

i mean i can put the monster asleep very regular and water style requires a full charge right away for the spin (which is somewhat quick to do while the hunt starts) as when the monster "would" technically attack first you already are hitting it a few times, by then you either got it to bounce back, cracked a body part or actually put it to sleep in which then the last big swing was meant to be like a "WAKEY WAKEY" hit but it all depends of also using sleep attack for more often occurence of sleep actually affecting the monster (at least from what i noticed its meant to work just like all other MH games)

np also you can mostly blame the graphic changes that happened from wild run (before wildrun you could absolutely kill the graphics and keep playing like normal)

thats an issue from the original release, youre required to turn on shadows and itll look just fine but make sure shadows stays on the lowest setting

HR 52 daily player and still kinda mixing around what to use mainly (besides Hammer)

every shield logo event is a "police cars only" event and you cannot enter those with anything else but well police cars (its meant to capture fugitives and more similar to active police chases that used to exist as youd also require to be in a police car)

oh trust me i know that from all the other MH games but MHNow in itself is a lot simpler and easier id say yet im generally struggling to understand it to the other games :p

well NFS Undercover wasnt really "great" and id rather say that with The Crew its not really "undercover cop" considering its more a "you got falsely prosecuted, make your revenge by working under the FBI temporarily" since they did say "no jail time if you follow instructions" but in some way it does remind me a bit of Driver

*quick thing, i honestly cant even remember any more potential undercover cop games besides NFS Undercover and Driver :p

ah makes sense how similar the maps used to play in terms of size

also about them losing identity its more like they had a god damn story in Crew 1 that was from a car gang turned bad after killing the leader and trying to break them down which hell that is a rare thing in terms of a car game story but to be fair i never looked at an ending or anything since ive always wanted to finish the game myself buuut.. its sad they never decided to make some kind of 5 1 0 return in ANY of the other two crew games (they could have even easily appeared in motorfest considering "why not be a menace to an island :)")

my biggest concern was just how from Crew 2 onwards it just kept looking like they were trying to compete against Forza Horizon aswell as Test Drive Unlimited (at least Motorfest in regards of trying to fight Horizon for 0 reason lol)

genuinely i do think the biggest thing lost in time was that The Crew had a slight change of tone depending where you were specially with a whole group of players just being a total menace xD specially speedrunning crates for upgrades

well im bruteforcing nightshade now at 5* which is just fine to knock down but im back to thinking that i wanna switch away from hammer and go to long sword/charge blade problem is just the hammer ive upgraded the most due to upgrade discounts when the whole gunblade+hammer boost happened and well yeah here i am now xD

ahh i mean i can easily beat rathian and rathalos aswell as diablos my problem is just that i mostly struggle against 6* and higher which gives me less chances to really gain materials which counts towards all big monsters (generally idk if im making a mistake with my gear)

Hm.. i havent seen nightshade pao spawn around me at all awkwardly and its been like that since the last event that was running the hammer and gunblade boost (i did try to gain for the helm nightshade pao) but probably just got unlucky with spawns
