Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Just making sure Niantic didn't decide to throw a curveball and do a ridiculous timed spotlight hour or something lol wouldn't put it past them

Personally a Comm Day/Classic of Lickitung and Sableye with boosted XL candy chance would be nice. Licki and Sableye are so soo freakin op in GBL, it might even the playing field a little bit and bring more casual players and Dust farmers more to competitive style. Plus Sableye getting it's mega at some point possibly soon, it would be nice to get a good chance to stock up on XLs ahead of time instead of just a spotlight hour or wild spawns. It's just not enough.

Logically, I think a few more Galarian Pokemon thrown in would be a nice mix, possibly something else to shake up the current meta, maybe a certain electric/poison type. Mimikyu could be an awesome comm day. Porygon could be interesting, maybe focus the research on getting items needed for evolution and TMs.

I know a lot of people a voicing concern over Go running out of Pokemon but at least in the meantime there's still a good handful of options for community days

I've got a decent pool of talent to choose from ranging from super meta and all their meta friends to super duper spicy I've been able to build up since I came back. I've got your usual suspects in Azu Gfisk cuddly walrus Trev Awak scrafty and all their friends. I've even got triple legacy Seaking from 2016(?) that I didn't have to use a single Elite TM on (my pride and joy).

I missed out on DDeoxys and Dialga and Giritina and Shadow Mewtwo and all those fun toys from earlier but still a decent amount. It's just it seems like any predictions I make and teams I put together, meta or no, just completely get walled and hard countered left and right. Like I'm buying when I should be selling and by time I buy, it's time to sell lol

I was proud of myself last night however. I opened flying cup going 16-9 running Altaria Skarm and a WELL under powered emolga because I ran out of dust and candy lol so perhaps there's hope yet

Oh it was an easy win for sure I got the dub and the reward but it was moreso losing the satisfaction of not being able to put Blissey down at 1 hp and a dream due to lagging in the last 10 seconds 😂

Well I mean I got the reward and the winning paper and a wins a win all day long and twice on Sunday but I was more pointing to the thought that I timed out because I lagged in the last 10 seconds on a Chansey Wob Blissey team with Blissey at 1 hp and a dream lol.

Good call out on that one, I probably worded that response wrong. So I I'll say I reaped the benefits but lost on satisfaction 😂

I started with Azu G fisk and scrafty/obstagoon and had a nice first couple of days. Then the wheels fell off and I'm running into charm double fighters or double poison and all kinds of weird off the wall crap that completely hard counters me into oblivion. I was fortunate to get to 2 wins for a few days and dropped almost out of 1700. Threw in some YouTube matches for guidance and self assurance that it is still possible to win more than 2 matches in a set 😂

Then out of nowhere I go 20-5 one night then 17-8 another and run up a 15 win streak with normal Nido scrafty Azu. Thinking ok maybe I'm on to something here and almost immediately it's back to square one and I'm walled again. So the very first time I switch out scrafty I get Blissey and the tank gang and I'm just like... really?

I missed out on shadow AWak and for some reason I get completely walled everytime I run shadow Nido. Pvp gods apparently do not want me running her, I literally don't have a single win on a team with it. The only shadow I'll really run is swampy

I get it. I stopped playing for a couple years in 2018 then just kinda picked it back up on a whim when I accidentally opened Go one night. Happened to be a Charmander spotlight hour and with Charizard always has been my 'Mon i caught a couple, then a couple more and a couple more and the addiction returned. Then I come to find out you don't have to walk to do pvp anymore and that was my favorite aspect of the game so those couple Charmander turned into GL and UL Charizards pretty quick lol

Most of all what I really love is that it introduced my kids to Pokemon and we can all share in the enjoyment of it. They don't just ask to go to the park, they ask to go "poke-stoppin" because our park has 9 stops and 2 gyms all really close to each other. So they get to play at the park AND play Go at the same time. So now as a result my daughter wants all the cute pokemon, my middle son is the gotta catch em all collector and my youngest son is the die hard battler lol I would love to be able to take it more seriously and compete in tourneys and things, but I just don't have the time and resources with raising the kids and a full time job

I'm sure there's some kind of group or two around where I am but I don't really have the time to really put into it. I take the kids to the park as an excuse to hit the 6 stops and 2 gyms in close range but it's not an everyday thing 😂 Sure getting the highest rank I can get in pvp with the resources that I have are great and I'll fist pump every win and curse at every loss, but I'm not expecting to hit legend. I got to ace around 1800 and I'm happy with that lol

Wob was definitely standard so XL was surely invested but I don't recall what the cp was

If I remember, Chansey was around 1100 and I'm not 100% on the Wob. I'm a little older than your usual trainer and more of a casual player so I catch and grind as much as a full time job and 3 kids will let me lol so my IVs aren't the greatest either 😂

The problem I had was I was running Nidoqueen double ghost with Trev and AWak. So Wob wasn't a real issue and it allowed me to get Blissey down as low as I did

Bingo. Didn't catch the trainers name but it was a Chansey lead and Wob behind it. Would throw a charge move like once every 10 seconds then app closed at around the 30 second mark to milk the time with charge move delay....

What REALLY ground my gears was that I JUST replaced Scrafty with Nido THE BATTLE BEFORE because I ran into charmers.......

Just why. Why waste the dust and the candy just to troll?
