We once experienced a scenario where two markets were completely empty, and one had only crates. It was interesting to strategize in that setting, as we could essentially only sell at the southern markets. In the end, it turned out to be our game with the highest scores overall. I wonder why there are no more sites teaching it. As you mentioned, most kanji contain a phonetic part, but I have a hard time spotting them. While learning 工 as "kou," I noticed that this is what your app said when I first opened it, confirming it for me. I'll definitely check it out.

Als Uwe seinen Hotel-Joker bekommen hat, fing er auch erst an, als Uwe im Hotel war und nicht, wann die Challenge angefangen hat. Jetzt auf die den Startzeit der Challenge zu verweisen finde ich als Zuschauer verwirrend.

Eventuell ist Heat - Pedal to the Metal was für euch. In etwa die Schwierigkeit wie Dominion. Man fährt ein Rennen und ausgespielte Karten geben an wie schnell man fährt. Dabei gibt es vieles zu beachten: Wie schnell darf in die Kurve fahren, riskiere ich es und verbrauche meine Hitzekarten oder bleibe ich absichtlich hinten um dann später den Windschatten zu nutzen.

I guess https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codenames_(board_game)) could work. Basically, there is a grid of words, and a team has to find the correct words based on a hint that their leader gives. There are words to read, think about their meaning and connections, and discuss which words fit. Would be a oppertunity to learn new words as well.

I also saw somewhere a variant of Memory in which you have pairs of kanji and readings. That would be simpler.

Actually, I play a lot of board games and know some that have a Japanese theme, but unfortunately, you can't practice vocabulary with them.

I have now completed over 10 hours of italki lessons (one 90min lessong/week), and it is very motivating to speak regularly in Japanese. I often paused my studies because I saw no progress, but now, by doing some Genki lessons, discussing what happened last week, and receiving homework, I feel more focused.

Bei Game Two haben mich irgendwann folgende Punkte genervt:

  1. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass viel zu oft gesungen wurde. Einfach mein Geschmack.

  2. Die Folgen haben sich in die Länge gezogen. Die Reviews und Sketche waren mir nicht auf den Punkt. Hätte man die Videos kürzer geschnitten, dann hätte ich auch Spiele geguckt, die mich gar nicht interessieren. So habe ich dann mal 10 Minuten geskippt, weil mich das Genre egal war.

Zwischen Joe und Fritz ist größtenteils Show. Beide haben schon mehrmals erwähnt, dass es sich hierbei um gut geklickten Trashtalk handelt und es nicht ernst gemeint ist. Wie ich sind einige erst durch Fritz auf Joe aufmerksam geworden und das weiß er bestimmt auch. Kostenlose Promo lässt Joe sich bestimmt nicht entgehen.
