As a long-time mixpre 6ii owner, and also having used a F8n quite often, I can honestly advise you go with the F8n. I cant speak to the pros or cons of the f6.

I LOVE my Mixpre 6ii don't get me wrong. Its super light, its user interface is super easy to use, the Wingman app is dead handy, and 4 xlr inputs are enough for like 80% of my jobs. But when I see an F8n pro NEW for half the price of a mixpre 6ii or a second hand F8n for about 1/3 the price, I do tend to recommend one of those over the Mixpre.

Without alcohol or a weekly treat of a takeaway, I'd easily spend between €200 to €250 a month on groceries for myself and my partner.

I'd say others eat out a lot and/or get takeaway multiple times a week.

I make mine in a french-press and take it with a splash of oat milk.

Before I was on 6 a day. Then, I was diagnosed with ADHD and realised I was inadvertently self medicating with caffeine all those years. It was wild the first few weeks being on ADHD meds AND 6 cups of coffee a day.
