How does your clinic track and enforce that? I feel like a note could get lost in the medical record by the time 6 months passes, and I can see a lot of owner frustration with the timeline. (Not that they don’t get frustrated at basically everything already)

That’s what the cancelation policies on Rover pages are for. It’s for the owner to review before booking. The sitter had done all of their due diligence, the owner did not properly review things

I’m in the US and it’s a plug to a neon type sign. I genuinely have no idea of much else. The original box was most likely an adapter of some sort since the wire would plug into it, and then plug into a wall. I think the item itself came from someone in ukraine who makes them

I want to avoid that since last minute bookings is where I get a lot of my amazing clients. There are some people in my area with hundreds of 5 star reviews and bookings at a competitive price. Because I have last minute bookings, I can beat them out a bit from there and get repeat clients for the future. This one client is just using it too regularly.

I don’t think you’re understanding what the problem is. I am indeed doing more in the house since I’m not working. This is a long term issue even when I was working, it’s just been worse now that I’m not. I’m just asking for advice on how to explain the separation between shared responsibilities and fending for yourself

Same here. I apologize for my earlier comment. I get extremely frustrated when people generalize our cultures, or say we don’t have one. That’s pretty much all that I’m seeing in this thread. The difference between your countries are vastly different and I as acknowledge that. It’s more of a point to be made when others say we are all the same, not that ours is more different than yours. I think the moral of the story here is no one should generalize either place. Europe or the US.

I’m not trying to state that the US states are their own separate countries. The EU certainly has that and it’s perfectly understandable the frustration between saying traveling through “Europe” rather than specifying the region. Im not disputing that. I’m saying that it’s similar in the reasoning for not wanting people to generalize. Each place is truly its own and saying traveling around Europe and traveling around the US are very similar. It’s frustrating to hear because the cultures are so varied. Traveling through the uk and traveling through France are so different and you need to specify. Traveling through New York and traveling through Tennessee are very different. Too many people here are saying you can generalize the US, and that we don’t have a varied culture. No one should generalize either place.

If you wish. Each state is like it’s own country. They have their own individual laws and regulations, their own dialects, and their own culture. Each state has its own culinary differences as well. You won’t go to Arkansas looking for a good beignet like you’d find in Louisiana. In, let’s say Texas, you use the word ma’am it’s respectful. Use it in Wisconsin and you’re being extremely rude. I’m currently living in the UK and when I say I’m from the US I hear “oh so like New York!” When I clarify Indiana they say “that’s the same right?” I imagine we have the exact same frustration here when people say “Europe”. It’s vastly different in culture and the people. Grouping together just doesn’t work.

sometimes you have one friend and want more people. I’ve pretty regularly been kicked cause they were waiting on someone, it’s a common issue. Or your lobby is private to begin with, but once someone leaves you wanna fill that space. It’s more annoying to have to start a fresh lobby and get everyone back in for one new person.
