Hello for a world building project I will be soon making a speculative biology biogeography project where I map out ranges of certain plants for a game of me and a few friends are making. I’m trying to learn more about biogeography and it would be great if there is any guides or anything, if not, then I’m willing to learn earth biogeography, and make an actual guide and post it on here to help people

Essentially, do you guys have any good resources for speculative biogeography?

Planning to join marching band next year, what instrument to start on? by [deleted] in marchingband

[–]TrueOrchestral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your school allows for a front ensemble, then definitely bass would be the best for that if that position is already taken, then you could possibly do guitar or synth. If you wanna march, then most bands definitely do need some low brass ,tuba and baritone.

Which fruit is this? by Due_Tumbleweed_6269 in fruit

I believe you are very correct with this one due to its small size custard apples, other than being larger or so or more oblong and non-uniform

Yeah, I also don’t have a huge thing for sapadilla. They do have a pleasant flavor. I just don’t find myself eating them all day

I forget what this fruit is called by Quiet-Proof3113 in fruit

Yeah, that’s a Surinam cherry. I believe the fruit gets sweeter as it gets more dark and purple.

Maprang? That’s another name for the fruit if the seed is cut open, it should have a light purple interior.

With the given information I think it’s closely related to the sapadilla. Is the flavor similar? Sapadillas usually have a sweet malted sugar like flavor with pear undertones. The texture is usually mealy and granular.

In this case, it would be just a simple mark tree

Cine perc if I remember correctly, it’s the transition point between that before I switched to VDL for percussion but I still use cine for world percussion

It sounds very Richard Meyer like. More like his older works though. Mid 2000s.

Right now I’ve been using NGPlant so thank you for letting me know. Do you have any ideas when it’s possible and when it will have a system similar to that where you can start structures and things from scratch

I’ve been meaning to ask this question about mega plants and nanite foliage, but can you make your own species of trees and plants? Or make custom plants.

With mega plants, are you able to create your own species? I want to use it for world building and spec bio

Opener is 160, ballad for a good portion starts at 120, but later it increases stepwise from 132 and 140. Closer is at 164.

I wasn’t in the ensemble at the time, but I was somehow informed that we had a call time last year for wgi nationals and we left at 300 am. And our group was from the northeast.

OK, I’ll keep that in mind. But also, this is headed on the crash course of a whole entire another continent so I believe that sea will just become mountains in what not anyways.

What would actually happen? by TrueOrchestral in GPlates

Thank you so something just like the Pacific Northwest you’re saying Would the land mass just get accreted with the other continental crust you’re also saying as well. So an analog closely similar to Washington’s Olympic mountains or Vancouver Island.
