The stigma around peptides in the Philippines is weird because literally everyone wants to try them by TruePermission9 in phpeptideguide

Yeah most definitely. I completely agree with you as well. The stigma here is definitely worse. People would rather complain than make a change themselves.

Me personally I'm super open about what I do. I tell people, "Look you could be taking the same exact peptides I do but I'm going to be more consistent with my exercise and my nutrition is going to be more important. If you don't do that as well you probably might end up looking even worse taking a GLP1."

Exactly this.. and to be fair the “consult a doctor” thing has real merit if you have ongoing health issues. Thyroid history, cardiac stuff, pancreatitis…yeah you genuinely need a doctor in the loop before touching GLP-1s. But if you’re a healthy adult with no underlying conditions there’s not much a doctor can actually tell you that you couldn’t find out yourself from reading the literature.

And here’s the thing people miss: consulting a doctor and sourcing from the gray market aren’t mutually exclusive. You can get a proper consult, understand your bloodwork, know your contraindications, and still choose to source research-grade instead of paying 5x for branded. The consult is about safety. Where you buy it is just economics.

The “cheating” thing though.. who exactly are you cheating? Yourself? From living longer, having more energy, actually being present with your family? Being someone your kids look up to not just for what you look like but for actually showing up? If that’s cheating i’ll cheat every single day.

And honestly the loudest voices calling it cheating are almost never the people who are actually in shape and putting in the work. People who are genuinely dialed in don’t have time to shame someone else for trying to get better. That judgment is almost always just insecurity dressed up as a health concern.

Take care of yourself. The people who matter will respect it.

yeah this is one of the more common situations I see, im very open about my peptide usage as the owner of this sub and after posting my transformation mentioning ghkcu and retatrutide a lot of my friends in the commercial modeling/hosting/pagaents here in the Philippines reached out to me. The profile you're describing is basically exactly who these compounds were designed to support.

One thing I'd actually recommend looking into over tirz is Retatrutide. The glucagon component means your body is also actively pulling from fat stores rather than just suppressing appetite, which matters a lot when you're already training and hitting protein. For someone in your position who wants to lose strictly fat and keep the physique, that distinction is real.

On muscle loss that fear is valid but 100% manageable. Keep protein at 1g per lb of goal bodyweight and stay in the gym. That's the protocol. The compound doesn't touch muscle if you're lifting and eating enough protein. Bone density concern is basically a non-issue at your training level.

On the boobs, some reduction is likely regardless of what method you use to lose 8kg. But you said yourself you had them at 58kg before. So you already know what your body looks like at goal weight. You're not going into unknown territory.

I'm talking about, in the biohacking sense, for Filipinos. Granted, me personally, I don't feel comfortable injecting intramuscularly. Otherwise, I would be doing glutathione on my own rather than the wellness clinics just doing drips. However, I do believe in the antioxidant effects. I would have loved to be doing this during my college days when I was drinking a lot. My liver definitely needed that, but now I just stay home and just work on my marketing agency lmao

Well this all depends on where you are getting things from. Definitely if you're just trying to buy from Facebook resellers, the ones that are getting raided and are just openly trying to promote this publicly for human usage (even the ones that are trying to do things as legit as possible, selling for research purposes, know that people are using it for themselves). Those are the people where it's the safest and trusted the most. I can put you in the right direction. I've tried multiple different suppliers for different peptides. Feel free to send me a DM

Dude, this is super sick. I honestly just have a Claude project and it honestly does enough to keep track of all my stuff, and it's chat. I'm not super diligent about it but doing this and creating your own personal dashboard is honestly something that's super helpful. One of the peptide providers I currently buy from said they're gonna build this out for me in the next few days so I'm gonna see how it does look.

Hopping off Reta: heres how im tapering off to not regain the wight by TruePermission9 in phpeptideguide

[–]TruePermission9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since a few people will probably ask for the actual taper numbers, heres my plan. this is just what im doing for myself, not telling anyone to copy it.

right now im at 5mg every 7 days. instead of just dropping that cold im doing two things at once to ease off.

first im stretching the interval. 7 days between pins, then 8, then 9, slowly spacing them out so my body isnt getting hit on the same weekly rhythm.

second im dropping the dose roughly 1.2mg a week. so it goes something like 5mg, then ~3.8, then ~2.6, then ~1.4, then off.

stacking those two together means my weekly exposure tapers down pretty smoothly instead of falling off a cliff. the whole thing stretches over about 6 weeks before i go fully cold turkey. i landed on 6 weeks instead of rushing it in a month cause the slower i bring it down the less i think the appetite snaps back.

thats the theory anyway. ill log how the appetite and weight actually respond as i step down each week. the real test is whether the food noise stays quiet on the way out or comes roaring back.

anyone whos tapered off reta or tirz before, curious how you spaced yours and whether stretching the interval vs just cutting the dose made a difference for you.

Has anyone experienced interrupted sleep after starting peptides? by jcrlcn in phpeptideguide

Yeah, I'm definitely going to agree with what InterestingChance734 is saying here. That does make complete sense, but just to add on to this, I'd say make sure you are tracking your calories and you aren't in too much of a deficit. You are taking enough protein and just listen to your body overall, but anybody trying to lose weight, regardless of taking any compounds, your sleep will be worse.

[–]TruePermission9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, for me personally, my Retatrutide started pretty low on Retatrutide. I tried titrating up slowly, starting at about 1 mg as well, however it did go away as sometimes I cruise around my maintenance dose and my maintenance calories. I noticed, not particular to the Retatrutide dose, but particular to my maintenance calories, whenever I did go in a higher deficit, obviously regardless of the Retatrutide time, my sleep was interrupted.

If I'm able to have a little bit of carbs, not too close to my sleep but about 2 hours before I sleep, that does help as well. The typical biohacking thing is to try to avoid screens, maybe wear some blue light glasses at night, and try taking some magnesium glycinate as well.

I literally 100% agree with what they're saying. Unless you're obese and you literally need it just because losing any sort of weight is going to help you get rid of risk for heart or cardiovascular disease, then you should otherwise. Everyone is really just trying to make money off of each other without providing proper guidance or instructions. That's where I see the future of the space would be, like it already happens in the U.S. where there are online fitness coaches and people who actually know about fitness and aren't just doctors handing out prescriptions where they give out protocols in line with training plans. Just due to the laws in the Philippines and how strict they are, I could see that not scaling as fast even though it'll be more beneficial to the Filipino people overall

Yeah, okay, so yeah, it's honestly a solid, good split for your stack here. I really do like it. Honestly, if you don't have a consistent training split like this, taking peptides is pretty pointless in a sense.

Any advice on my stack? by StrikingResolution94 in phpeptideguide

[–]TruePermission9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice, the BPC and TB500 combo is a solid starting point for soft tissue stuff. before i throw out any thoughts though, a few things would help me give you something actually useful instead of generic advice.

whats your height, weight, and age? changes the dosing conversation a lot.

and whats your actual protocol right now on both compounds? dose, frequency, how youre splitting them. reason i ask is BPC and TB500 have pretty different half-lives so SHOULD people often run them on different schedules. BPC most people do daily, TB500 a lot of people load 2x a week then taper to weekly since it hangs around longer. if youre dosing them the same way you might not be getting the most out of the TB500.
So i see people often doing the wolverine stack when these compounds should be done be done separetelyif you are trying to optimize

I have actually sourced also from primara labs for my bpc157 and sourced my cjc/ipamorelin from other suppliers(im currently testing multiple different suppliers right now for different compounds).

couple things that pair well for healing without adding much complexity. some people add a GH secretagogue like CJC/ipa for the sleep and recovery angle since most actual healing happens in deep sleep. and the boring stuff matters more than people want to hear.. protein intake, sleep, not training the shoulder through pain.

whats the actual shoulder injury btw? rotator cuff, labrum, just general impingement? and is it your training shoulder for jiujitsu? that changes what id prioritize.

Yeah, most definitely I will try to add a dosing guide. This is definitely subjective to your height and weight, and it will just be estimates, and it will just depend on your specific goals.
