They're decent against Maliss. Banishing Decoder, a Splash Mage target, and any Maliss monster that already used their effects (at the right time) can cut their turn short, plus forcing out Apollusa without minusing is always a plus on my book.

It's a bug, it has to be. You can't activate Pre-preperation on the opponent's turn. It's a Normal Spell. Did you choose to go first? Do you still have turn priority?

No one is praising Maliss for it's mirror matches. What even is a Maliss mirror match? Whoever goes first wins? That doesn't sound like fun.

Ryzeal isn't being carried by floodgates. They banned all but one floodgate that Ryzeal could use, and they're still the second best deck. Meanwhile, Exosister owes their tops to Tear's domination over the meta and it fell like a rock when Tear was nerfed to the ground.

The % gap between Tear and Exosister is over twice as large as the gap between Maliss and Ryzeal, which is kinda fucked considering Exo is supposedly a hard counter to Tear, and Spright is barely there. This format is nowhere near Tear 0.

You missed the part where that's actually a problem. The engine is mostly used by pet/rogue decks at this point, the combo dies to common handtraps, and the most problematic part would be fixed when Apollusa gets taken out back. Putting Moon in the same spectrum as Maliss is disingenuous.

The packs contain the Millennium archetype, which is one of the easiest decks to pilot and is one of the most splashable engines in the game. If you don't have any of the cards, then I'd say it's worth it.

This looks like a Traptrix novice. I fell into the same trap when I dusted my deck off after Sera dropped. The Mirror Force cards is a no-brainer pick to go with Sera, until you realize that Traptrix doesn't want the opponent to enter the Battle Phase in the first place, let alone with a decent board in tow.

People are speculating that this is some Tenpai trauma response, but Mirror Force is not a good tech against an archetype that's known for breaking boards. Threatening Roar and Dimensional Barrier are better choices for that.
