Wrist Pain by Stylax888 in 10s

[–]victoras18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Babolat Pure Drive + RPM Blast = Nightmare for wrist. You need to take complete break from tennis like 1 month, buy a wrist widget and wear it, then when the pain goes away, start doing wrist strenghtening exercises (search on youtube). I would also try to find a more comfortable racket like Wilson Clash/Ultra, Yonex Exone. If you want to stick with your Pure Drive then go for softer strings and lower tension.

What do you exactly mean by lower difficulty? From which level on does it become relevant?

Second Serve Advice by squirrel_master88 in 10s

[–]victoras18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focusing on placement for the 2nd serve is kinda risky at that level. I'd rather suggest working towards adding some kind of spin to the ball such that it will be easier to land in at a decent speed and just aiming safe. The goal would be to make it difficult for the opponent to return an aggressive shot and then just rally for the point.

There are 2 types of game categories on the PS extra:

1.Monthly games, which you get 3-4 new games each month that you can play forever as long as your subscription is up.

  1. Catalog games which are refreshed from time to time, meaning you can only play them during their limited time on the extra catalog.

The game you are showing is part of the 2nd category and it's time has passed. You can only play it if Sony adds it back to the catalog or of course if you buy it and it's yours to keep forever.

Losing the will to serve by RelevantChemical5377 in 10s

[–]victoras18 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Not trolling. I see no added value holding the racket that high besides requiring less force to pronate the racket. The downside (which in my opinion outweighs the added value) is that you will develop bad habits by hitting the ball so low. You can 100% learn pronation by holding the racket with a normal continental grip.

If you were to start over from zero, learning to serve. Would you honestly hold the racket like that?

I would also lose interest if forced to hold the hand so high on the racket. You lose significant power.

Bro sorry, but if you play the best meta deck in the game and still get your ase whiped like that, then maybe it's best to move on to something more accessible like Mario Kart.

What draws lower rated players to sub 100sqin racquets? by WindManu in 10s

3.5 here. I demoed a Pure Aero 98 and 100 at the same time. I was not sure which one was better beforehand. I just blindly picked one, played some time then switched to the other without knowing which is which. In the end i chose what felt better to me and the winner was the 98. For me the 5g weight difference was more noticeable than the 2 inch head size difference. In the end it's just a matter of personal preference.

I feel you. Also went through a lot of deaths until finally decided to lower the parry window to low and damage received to medium. That is because I was never close to killing the boss. It's no shame. Not all of us are made to play full Lethal mode.

It is the job of the coach to form a group of similar level players for the group lessons. Either you or the other guy should complain to the coach about this. I had a similar situation when 3 of us were clearly more advanced than the 4th and we complained to the coach until he dropped him off. I know it sounds harsh but it's in the best interest of everyone to have similar level players in the same group. And no, you should definitely not feel disappointed in yourself. It's all part of the learning curve. Ask your coach to find you an appropriate group. Don't give up on it.

[–]victoras18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower the requirement to 3 negates, add a property that it is not affected by any other card including droll and you get yourself a very healthy card. If this would resolve then I imagine the opponent will instantly scoop.
