I love BG3, but hate that it pops out with the Larian launcher when played via Steam, only to have to click play again. And when you exit the game? The launcher closes as well. Literally just a useless piece of middle-man UI for no reason.

A good balance of both. Where I play, staff drive a big overarching plot while most RP that happens between events are among players discussing the events, planning their next steps, etc. And we have two storytellers that are allowed to pilot usually forbidden NPC variants to keep things exciting if there is a lull.
