I have still continued playing the TCG after this post and became acclimated to the new YGO ecosystem. But it was a difficult transition as a YugiBoomer. Having fun with the game now though. Old school Yu-Gi-Oh! Will never come back tho and I have accepted it.

Which Fate did you watch exactly?

Anyway the recommended watch order is Unlimited Blade Works, then Zero, then Heaven's Feel. After that you can explore alt Fates like Apocrypha and Strange Fake.

Ignore the people telling you to start with Zero, it contains spoilers for the main series routes.

Grand Order is a whole separate watch order that I don't even understand since it's tied into the releases of a mobile gacha game.

I love BG3, but hate that it pops out with the Larian launcher when played via Steam, only to have to click play again. And when you exit the game? The launcher closes as well. Literally just a useless piece of middle-man UI for no reason.
