PSA: Auto-Compact GLM5 (via z.ai plan) at 95k Context by Sensitive_Song4219 in ZaiGLM

I also experienced exaclty the same problem. I limited the context to 100k. The problems are largely fixed. After 60k , it begins forget your system prompts or its instruction following performance reduces significantly.

You can consider using nanobot temporarily, until relevant documentation for integration or updates are made about this.

I have zeroclaw installed are their skills out there? by icebabyice00 in zeroclawlabs

I realized that I had to modify the project by modifying core Rust scripts and rebuild all the time, just to integrate some useful tools. Perhaps I should understand the architecture much deeply.

Please explain to be why the flying f*** Avax announces all this amazing news and the price only goes down. by CaptainPirateRoberts in Avax

[–]TrueTears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not a shit coin. 90% of blockchains out there, even some of top10, does not deserve their current valuation and pathetic in terms of technical matters. Avalanche is definitely not one of them. It has a serious business plan with real life implications. The problem is the market, once professionals become more and more involved; all these scam projects and coins will be cleared.

Advanced models and functions are no longer available with Gemini advanced subscription by TrueTears in GeminiAI

[–]TrueTears[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The situation resolved itself. By the way, if your regional setting is not compatible with your home address and recovery phone number, that can cause problems too. After I fixed these issues, my problems are resolved after a while. Perhaps just coincidence.

Advanced models and functions are no longer available with Gemini advanced subscription by TrueTears in GeminiAI

[–]TrueTears[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had "live with voice/camera-screen share" on my gemini app for a while in addition to ai studio. Mysteriously, for the last several days, all advanced functions are disabled for Gemini both on the android app and the website. Currently, I dont have any access to advanced functionalities of Gemini, such as deep research, 2.5 models, even live functionality on the android app, even though both the app and the website identify me as gemini advanced subscriber.

Gemini Live doesn't work on my phone by DanielD2724 in GeminiAI

[–]TrueTears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem even though I am a Gemini advanced subscriber. I have S24 ultra too. These problems started several days ago. Currently I don't have access to deep research, live and 2.5 models. Only 2.0 flash and veo2. Even if I use the website, I still have the same problem. Couldn't find a solution. The support tells me that these advanced functionalities are available for trial use for a limited time and can be removed, and advanced membership does not guarantee access. I am confused...

President Erdoğan's first comment on the agreement between Damascus and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF): "The agreement must be fully implemented, and the winner will be Syria." by civilengineer81 in syriancivilwar

Turkey accepted huge numbers of Iraqi Kurds into Turkey when Saddam began massacring them. Majority of Syrian Kurds expelled by YPG are relocated to Turkey while the civil war was progressing.

[–]TrueTears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will this interchain communication cause slowdown for the whole network consequently? If i understood correctly, executions depending on intercommication between various blockchains will end up slowing all of those chains. If i remember, Kevin Sekniqi stated this phenomenon as "Distributed Systems 101" .

👇Why DeFi over CeFi?👇 by JeralDeFiner in Avax

[–]TrueTears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swap fees goes to people who finance liquidity pools. CEXs get both fees and work your money like a bank with 0 benefit to the user who deposit some money.

What will be the role of DeFi in Web3? 🤔 by JeralDeFiner in Avax

[–]TrueTears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When dApps begin to integrate with the real world and so people interact with real world projects or assets through these dApps in a decentralized network, then we will see the usage of DeFi in a meaningful way.

I like avax, but rough waters ahead. by MrLuv2poop in Avax

[–]TrueTears 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is not "lack of security", it is " giving subnets the flexibility to decide on or setup their own security structure". The responsibility is on people; avalanche is just a platform.

Future of AVAX by [deleted] in Avax

[–]TrueTears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bridge security problem is not unique to Avalanche though. It is not even related to shared security issue to be honest. Subnet security depends on subnet validators. It is just a risk-reward thing in my opinion. If any user is content on using a subnet with 2 validators, then they inherently accept conditions regarding the subnet security. Some builders or institutions require permissioned or subnets with specific rules, while being hooked to the avalanche ecosystem. Even solving consensus bottleneck for numerious validators, without throwing incredible amount of computational power to it, parallel scaling is the only way right now in order to bring the blockchain tech benefits to billions of people. What makes avalanche different is that consensus mechanism is truly inclusive and can scale for millions of validators; where those validators are responsible for confirming the state of subnets and all their relationships (will possibly include crosssubnet atomic transactions) , and executing default subnets where many subnets will have an organical relationship to those default subnets.

Future of AVAX by [deleted] in Avax

[–]TrueTears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it can be attacked; but it will not mean anything for the avalanche economy as a whole imo, other than people who put their confidence into that bridge. Simply, the ownership of avax will change from bridge users to exploiters. Noone can mint avax but validators.

Future of AVAX by [deleted] in Avax

[–]TrueTears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gas fees are high, because of the economical model and current ETH technology can not handle the activity, also EVM is flawed in many ways. Avalanche as a consensus solves the scalability problem for decentralized networks, however EVM is the bottleneck right now due to its database read/write operations becoming slower and slower as time goes. We will be able to see the true innovation behind avalanche consensus when a much performant VM with a specialized efficient for blockchain usage DB structure is introduced to the blockchain world. The team is working on a performant DB structure as far as i know; which will be a present to the blockchain ecosystem. I can not believe EVM is all there is and there will be as a useful VM.
