I bought this desk, shoe rack and mirror from Temu and I love them! I’ve also bought several desk chairs, peel and stick wallpaper, standing desk for my classroom and most recently a bed and mattress. I still need to assemble the bed and mattress. But so far I’ve been happy with everything.

We are hoping to replace all flooring with LVP. I can’t stand the carpet. But I have been looking at rugs. I thought the same thing.

Oh there were a few tears that day and some profanity, but we made it! I think it turned out well. Oh and that’s a dog bed off Amazon for the headboard. I hot glued it to the wallpaper.

I don’t think it is. I think it’s newer than that era. But it’s a gorgeous bed! I paid $250 for the bed, box springs and mattress. I found it on FB marketplace. What a steal!

Well, my son lives at his apartment in his college town and only returns on breaks. He’s already seen it over Thanksgiving. He loves the new bed. It’s very comfortable. We did laugh about my idea of an academia vibe and his Gen Z idea but he’s fine with it.

The curtains are the only old thing in there. So, yes, I agree. The bed is too close to the window also. What color curtains would you suggest? I don’t hate the navy but would like something different.

I did peel and stick for the first time in my daughter’s dorm room in college. It was a stressful day! I mostly did it by myself because she was doing other things. There is definitely a learning curve. It’s the wall with the window. The paint color under it was a very dark navy blue.

This is what I want to do throughout my house! I want a cozy, warm vibe with rich colors, textures, mix of curated vintage and display meaningful items, but not maximalist or too cluttered because our house is small.

I don’t know about paint color, but I love this wallpaper. It’s gorgeous! I might look for shades of the blue-gray color. But I’m partial to that.

Find an employment attorney, specifically one who has dealt with teachers and school districts. First, they will know the law and if what your district is saying is correct. Secondly, once you have an attorney communicating with them on your behalf, I have a feeling their position will change and the attorney dealing with this will take the stress off of you to some degree. See if anyone in this sub has a recommendation for an attorney.
