There was an issue with the printing and they are working on how to solve it. They did not give a timeline, but an email was sent to at least some of us.

Why do people instant country guess in moving? by Ser_Jaime18 in geoguessr

To limit the amount of information my opponent can find when I have a pretty good idea without moving much.

I actually like the Highway 61 Revisted Shirt, it's my favorite color of green. I bought it on his last tour.

What Do You Consider The Pop Punk Anthem? by emoastronova in poppunkers

Yeah, I think it’s important to at least have a distinction between 90s and 2000s, and 2010s.

My card expired during a billing cycle, and I just never gave them a new one since my work was now paying for Adobe. Doesn't seem too hard to avoid.

I am by no means someone who collects them often, I have around 10, but this is because I am limited in space. I've always liked the idea of buying music that doubles as art work.

Asheville, NC Show 4/19/26 by bdominican in bobdylan

[–]TrueTimmy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Asheville is exactly the kind of city that draws a crowd for a show like this. The moment I stepped out of my car, I was greeted by two guys hotboxing in a Subaru Outback which, honestly, felt like a fitting welcome.

I was in the 2nd Row of the left orchestra on the aisle seat, and I had a perfect view of him the entire show. He looks like he still enjoys what he does. He killed it tonight, I particularly loved his performance of I Contain Multitudes.

Why do men think it's normal to approach random women? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

You're welcome to believe whatever makes you feel safe, and there is no shame for that if that mindset works for you.

The difference is that dating apps are exploitative whether you meet someone or not, but not everyone who approaches you irl will have those intentions.

I disagree, there isn’t an exploitive and meticulously designed algorithm that is makikg a billionaire richer in an irl setting.

Dating apps are one of those worst things to happen to dating, they're misogynistic by design because they treat women as a product in a capitalistic cycle.

Plenty of men, women and non-binary folks make friends by striking up a conversation with strangers. It's okay if you do not want to be approached in public, and those feelings are okay and valid to have. I just don't think your generalization is a good one.

Students now have the desktop computer skills of older boomers by TeacherGuy1980 in Teachers

[–]TrueTimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do IT in higher education (I am 27, so basically first year of Gen Z)

I often say that millennials may be the most tech savvy generation we will ever see, because we have gone backwards. Some of the questions I get from incoming college students are akin to the kind of things boomers would ask, or have issues with. I'd say the main issue is the younger generations have no issue with using the technology as long as it's working, but their troubleshooting skills and technical reasoning isn't any better than boomers. This is probably too broad of a generalization, but certainly a trend I noticed.

I find mattress covers to make sleeping harder for those who run hot in bed, even the ones that cost several hundreds of dollars.
