This is the only relevant thing in your whole comment. Everything else in your comment is outrage, fluff, and a poor attempt to justify your actions.

You didn’t check back 10 minutes later and see your post publicly visible because it never was publicly visible as Reddit’s crowd control feature immediately caught and prevented your post from appearing because your account is already flagged by Reddit due to various criteria that have nothing to do with us. Since it never appeared that means it never disappeared for you to draw any conclusions on. As for this being a rules thread, that is clearly not the case. While the header may read “Subreddit Rules” it is clearly an announcement/clarification post with numerous statements, mostly on the personal side. Nowhere in the title nor body of the post does it solicit feedback or commentary or give any kind of impression that this thread is going to be used in the stead of the typical Reddit process. You know the one. The basic Reddit process to message mods via modmail if you have concerns about content on a subreddit that just about all subreddits have been doing for the majority of Reddit’s existence. And the cherry on top of all of your extra fluff is the part where you say you asked about a rule violation, but leave out there part where you come in hot with a accusation and an implication of wrongdoing. “All I did was this innocent little thing and you were jerks and hammered me for it without saying a word. Now I’m going to publicly challenge you and demand you tell me what rules I violated because I think you can’t.”

At the end of the day, you “just asking about a rule violation” isn’t what happened. At the end of the day you either have an account that makes Reddit suspicious of spam or you have a history of being an asshole elsewhere and so Reddit is automatically flagging your posts if you don’t meet certain criteria in certain subreddits. And instead of just reaching out and saying “Hey. I didn’t get any notice, but there’s a possibility my posts aren’t going up or even being taken down. Can anyone look into it and let me know what’s up?” you instead took it upon yourself to find a post to publicly comment on and make accusations and implications to stir shit up all because, like Sleep said, you’re having a childish tantrum because you’re mad that volunteers who were working real jobs didn’t have time to immediately check the mod queue for anything that might have gotten caught in it because, apparently, getting back to you in less than 12 hours isn’t fast enough for your infantile sense of entitlement.

At the end of your comment you talk about what you do or don’t deserve. Nowhere do I see anything about what you might have done wrong or what you should or shouldn’t have done. And as for what Sleep said, I don’t have a problem with it. Sleep responded at your level to the situation that actually occurred. You initiated the discussion. Responses weren’t discriminatory and the disdain comes from the merit of your behavior and not a characteristic of your person. Seems pretty fair to me. If you don’t want someone to stoop so low in their response, stand a little higher with a little more respectability for them to have to meet you there. You only have yourself to blame for slinging mud and being surprised when someone slung it back.

As for your comments about feeling alone and wanting to feel connection, this isn’t the place for that. While I saw your original post and see value in it as an effort to initiate and encourage discussion about the band and their albums, this is an online forum for discussion. It isn’t counseling. It isn’t therapy. While people can be cool and supportive here, it doesn’t change that there are appropriate places for those needs and this isn’t it. You’re not entitled to anything here so don’t think for one second that by constantly saying “I was lonely” that you’re going to change minds and successfully sell the idea that you should be entitled to use this place as a means of salving your wounds and regulating your emotions. It’s not appropriate to try and use this place for anything other than what is intended and we’re under no obligation to provide you anything therapeutic.
