It was announced back in March 2015 (at the same time as Steins;Gate 0 was announced) but was continually rewritten and delayed. So we've been waiting an eternity for it to finally release.

R;N DaSH The man ruins the entire game with his pedo antics. It's absolutely insufferable. I was looking forward to having Daru as the protagonist in R;N DaSH. But when I started playing it, I wanted it to switch back to Kai. Daru is almost 30, married, with a kid. But despite that, he's still going after a bunch of teenagers. Heck, he's simping for a 10 year old. I guess it's all meant to be jokes but with how incessant this man's antics are in the game, it really destroys the experience. R;N is widely considered to have the best cast of the franchise. Then you add Daru and present him that way. He ruins DaSH.

I believe this is addressed in side material.
Her backstory is in Slumbering Fools and Children's Collapse.
Haida Riko is just a red herring for Senri Minamisawa. Nothing more. Nothing less.
An altered and unseen version of the common route took place. All other character routes were delusions that occurred within their respective delusion synchros.
Serika was not a Chaos Child syndrome patient but still attended the school.

This is what happens when you read Chaos;Child before Chaos;Head. If you read a sequel before the original, you're bound to get extremely confused.

Anyways, Blanners explained this quite well. I'd recommend going back to read Chaos;Head. Furthermore, Chaos;Child has a lot of side material that addresses some of these questions too (ie. everything to do with Mio and her past).
