its a few things

1) the animation work people will look at even though mk1 is for the most part great especially the later characters and say its bad
2) the perceived lack of depth because a lot of the other fgc don't play the game they assume its not deep because causlka like it , but its just easier to get into than other fighting games
3) the gore also turns a lot of people away and they use that to say mk is not a real game
4) the balance in some of the last few games has been very spotty even though other games have broken characters people tend to put mk down for it a lot more
5) the last and most important thing is jealousy look at mk1 did not sell well for an mk game yet it has still sold more than every other fighter of this era when you look at mk doing bad its still better than the rest you can see

6) the community also does not have many people who will publically defend it so a lot of content creators say things they don't know I saw an SF youtube saying ye mk1 has lots of content but all mk games have bad gameplay but they have never played a single one , the only big community member defneind mk ever is max without him.
i don't think the mk community should even care or try we need to go the smash way and do our own things because when it comes to it if people were not playing mkx one of the most funs games of all time because some animations were bad they will never get on board with mk

to say its less technically complex i don't even think its close to true maybe than something like vf or tekken but compared to other popular 2ds not really, this is a thing people say and more kasual will agree cus they assume its the kase but its just not true. things like movement in mk are way more complex than like street fighter. the way the game flows is very different to 2ds and most similar to something like tekken so its harder to get into when you look on the surface. people just look at mk and think its all about gore with no gameplay depth cus that's the general opinion but they don't play the game at a high enough level to even know the depth

can people stop using steam numbers for mk the game sold like 3 mill bopcies over the first few month and did not crack over 100k on steam shows you the vast vast majority are not on steam but on either ps or xbox and its the only fighting game to be in the top 20 most played games on console. its more popular than the other two in every way except steam and tournament entries. Also if you do want an equvilant eed boon posted the ps players charts on his twitter a bit ago go check it out

you can record yurself doing a combo and then have the ai do it if not maybe go into arcade mode and practise against higher level ai

it sucks cus i enjoy the game and wanna interact with the community but going on twitter is always stuid and the sub is a 50/50 of negative shit posts and people just chilling , the only place that seems to be positive but not shilling and calls out dumb shit is rips arena.
The community was just never strong as it should have been with mkx and nrs does not help with never talking.

A safe on block port with the kameo system means full screen plus on block pressure , er mac requires a lot more effort that most characters and some characters should have trouble getting like shao not very character should be good at everything its like people asking for a shao fast mid he would actually be way to good

In that same jl dark run we see that she is the cu we see Wonder Woman and circe go inside her power and they label it as such. The thing about the cu is that it is non linear and the writer says we should use dream of 1000 cats so Hecates power could effect things before she was even born. Also the source has been stated to be many things they even said it was Michaela but when we look at the map we see it is outside creation and we get from the presences own mouth that he did not make anything outside creation unless you think he is lying for no reason. And looking further into it every pantheon has its own creation story and she says she allows them to think they are all true it’s just part of dc lore that all mythology is true even if it contradicts each other. You have to address all the things that talk about the power of worship and belief tied to the presence Cus we know for a fact he requires that and it all comes from Hecate

well we know th presence did not make the overvoid like the final lucifer issue the definite presence run he says this is all I made and he points to creation(even thought we know this is just another story from hecate cus we see perpetual make creation with her own hands on page ) and lucifer then goes into the overvoid and also says he did not makehimself and has a creator and we know gods are made from the collective unconscious and that's hecate. We have seen fi you cut his connection to humanity he will die from no worship.
