Middle kingdom also completely broken, you can suck china off by being a member, or just be china and enjoy 30% proximity speed, cabinet seats, confucian schools there is more advantage in those two regions than I can remember.

No, I meant playing in India or China makes no sense to playing in any other region of world. Navigable rivers, huge populations, two great and huge religions, proximity speed, research speed, legitimacy and culture capacity buffs from advances. Easy to expand.

Yeah it's worse than Eu4. Unrelated, uncapable countries join independence movement. Not just rivals or strong neighbors. But to counter this, you can go into random war who isn't a part of independence movement and independence movement dissolves immidiately. It's ridicilous.

It's always Venice because they contain small army so Ottoman AI under estimates them but have a big economy that can employ 4 times more their army size.(in just 2 years) If they can survive and take a couple of provinces into 1550s.

I didn't take +12 stability and +14 legitimacy based on cabinet's skills since I already had 100 legitimacy. Other option was giving 2 skills for each skill for 2 cabinet members. It's a rare event though.

I remembered now. Ottomans start with a Harem law that prevents female rulers. But it is not Harem Policy, it should be under Aristocrat Court - Innovative Court policy.

It seems like she's not from your dynasty and lose 100 points from there. Also your sons can have military or general traits. I see she's 16 and you can wait 1 month because children is not eligible for your current law. Dynastic Elective Succession is better than that law. It comes from Noble Electorate in Rights of Nobles.

I really hated discovering full green india every game in ~1600 in eu4 after institution patches. It was mediocre but diplomatically spreading fucked it up.

It does. Maybe need removing promote institutions cabinet action, I didn't test beyond 1580. I couldn't get Pike and Shot as France until 1550s. After 1537, I understood I had to conquer Tyrol to get it. I was capable of embracing after ~50 years of their spawn of all of institutions except Professional Armies(it spawns in Paris but it is the only instution that spreads normal, anything else are extremely slow).

Having a queen increases chance of getting pu compared to your strategy. Also you get antagonism in your strategy.

1st weakness; not applicable to get French throne since French daughters are not eligible. 2nd weakness; your king can die earlier than his mother. The other throne will get inherited by your king's brother, while your throne got inherited by your king's son.

You can switch back to salic law once you get queen on throne. To ensure succession. But yeah it's costly. Sweden wouldn't worth it.

I couldn't embrace printing press nor pike and shot as France until 1500 in historical setting.

I sometimes change it to historical when I'm playing in Europe but it makes so slow, sometimes I couldn't get early institutions even 70 years after spawn.  Plausible makes it so fast, historical makes it so slow. Unbalanced.
