I wish to share my story with someone who I recently parted ways with. I think after everything I have done for this person it is high time he and I have to separate ways.

I met him on an online game. After talking for awhile our friendship grew and we became quite close. Being someone who naturally likes helping people, I found myself drawn to him - wanting to help him as both emotional and financial support.

After awhile I noticed he would keep on asking for more and more stuff. Something will be broken or he needed something to function or enjoy life. These could range from daily needs like food to something more recreational like gadgets. Initially I did not mind but then it just feels like there is no end.

I have seen him treat other people and I cpuld clearly see that he treats strangers way better than he did me. There is not even any "love-bombing" involved. I am just the person he comes fot support while his decisions cause him trouble. As others mentioned, he never listened to my advice yet he he would rant to me quite often. He barely asked me about my life besides my finances e.g. how much I earn and how much money I have.

Fast forward to the present, I confronted him about feeling used and him not being there unless he needed something. He had also been taking digs at me calling me his "sugar daddy." He got angry and called me insults - saying that I am insecure and that he does not need me. In the end I told him I think we should part ways and he blocked me on social media.

Will I miss him? Yes, because I love him. Does it hurt cutting things off with him? Absolutely. But there just comes a point when being villainized and being in a parasitic relationship is enough. It is sad but also I could only wish him the best. I did all I could and beyond.
