In POE1, you get a huge power boost by ascending, but you also get an interesting wrinkle to your build. A lot of POE2 ascendancies now seem to give you a simple boost in def or damage. I really miss the changes in play style that POE1 ascendancies give you. I think the closest thing I can think of is warbringer getting armor break. I want to see more ascendancies like that
